My car came with 3:55's there's no question about that. I was curious if the gearing was changed. It looks like the gearing is still stock.

The chances of someone changing gears with this platform are slim to none. There’s just no need with these cars. Now a change in tire height is plausible.

I haven't owned a performance car in quite a while and I thought 2,200 rpm @ 80 mph seemed high with a 10 speed auto which must have at least two overdrive gears but I'll get used to it.

All the muscle cars I've owned were back in the 70's and 80's including 5 Shelby Mustangs, two RoadRunner 440's. One was a 70 SuperBird. Two 1964 Corvette sports coupes and a 1987 Buick Gran National. I think my current 2020 Mustang is faster than any of those cars but I haven't pushed it......Yet. Thanks for the support!

I'm at 80 exactly @ 2200 in my 6th gear manual with 3.55 gears. These cars like RPM's. I rarely use 6th gear. Only if I'm on the expressway going for a stretch of gas mileage.
