Ive seen the Frankenstein heads in person, awesome is the best description. The oem valves are weak and prone to failure in high rpm boosted applications.

Economical and engine failure go hand in hand. Not recommended. The ole saying do it right the 1st time adheres to this post. I thought I would be safe keeping it under 1000WHP this block of mine that failed had rods n pistons from MMR they were fine. Bought the Predator block from them at a decent price as well.

We've come a long way, when you can "think" you will be safe on oem block at 1000hp.
But yes, failure of one part tends to kill a bunch of other parts and adds up quickly.
It hurts even more when you spend the funds on the stronger parts only to have a lifter roller bearing take it all out.
Even the best of parts fail from time to time. You have to set a budget, then decide how far past reality you want to risk, knowing it could fail.
Watching a 40k bullet eat itself on a brake is not fun. And a pain in the wallet.
