Looks good , glad to hear it's so we'll made. Did it come with the sound tube cap or delete?

No the cap is part of the Blowfish sound tube delete kit. $11 from CJPP.

OK I took the car out 3 separate times today for a total of about 2 hours of driving, and holy crap does it feel fast above 3500 rpm. Wonder if it took a little time for the computer to learn what to do with the extra air or something, or if I'm just imagining things or what, but sometimes in Sport or Track mode it just feels like you barely touch the gas and it wants to leap forward . I think the Evolution has improved the throttle response for sure. Very happy with it.

Did you notice any change in deepness of exhaust note? I've read several reviews that say the exhaust note changed and either deepened or mellowed out. Glad it seems to be producing , I was hoping it would as I really like this Intake!

No exhaust note change but I deleted the sound tube. Some other guys who have noted an "exhaust" sound difference after installing an intake ended up thinking it was because of the sound tube piping more intake noise into the cabin. Also I have the LTH Scorpion exhaust with a J-pipe that cancels out certain exhaust frequencies so between that and the stock resonator not sure any intake change could affect the exhaust sound.

Ahh gotcha , thx for replying. Glad it appears to help with throttle response. I have other mods I wanna complete before I dive into power adding but this intake is still sitting at the top of my choices list

My 18 JLT causes my car to die at stoplights occasionally. Not sure what's going on with it, but it could be the tune.
Probably not the tune. I'm betting sucking in way to much hot air.

This normally happens when pulling up slowly to a stop light after driving it. It's cooled down significantly. It's hard to tell if it's just a lot of turbulence or what. I'd have to data log it some more. Right now I'm testing the 2018 airbox with the Airaid tube and drop in filter. It's pretty decent so far.

Any noticeable results with this setup? I’m interested as well

have you checked all the seals and connections to make sure there's no vacuum leak? feel around the underside and anywhere else you can't see

Yep, I ensured there was no leak. I've got everything capped off that needs to be. It's only that intake that dies on me when slowing down to a stop or rpm dips and back up.

How are the intake air temperatures with this Injen, still think it’s running strong compared to your stocker? Thanks. This has been really helpful
Didn't do any measurements other than the butt dyno. Still of the opinion that I think there's an improvement in responsiveness. Not considering for a minute removing it to return or go back to stock.

I tried again this morning to get the Injen to fit properly.

I pushed the tube into the filter until I felt it bottom out, but it still wouldn't fit properly at the throttle body.

It's on it's way back to Summit.
