When I'm out in public, I don't want to be bothered. When some random person comes up to me like that, I'm not afraid of loudly saying no or being rude if necessary. Things can happen way too quickly.
I'm not one to trust people that I don't know, and I don't want to become a statistic.

In my case, Ford just didn't offer a 2018 Mustang GT optioned the way that I wanted.
What I wanted was a GT Premium without satellite radio (didn't want the antenna on the roof) or heated/cooled seats.
My modification path:
1. Swapped the 300A cloth seat upholstery for the black leather from...
2018 GT 300A purchased 8/16/18 with 3 miles. Currently sitting at 8,935 miles. Weekend cruiser that is stored from late October-April due to PennDOT's love of salt and brine.
My 2018 GT (built 3/18) with the MT82 has been fine. I think many of the issues with the 2018s were blown out of proportion by owners who got themselves in too deep financially and hoping for a buyback to get out from under a loan, or people just looking to make content.
I was scared of...
I'd pass as soon as I looked underneath. My biggest concern would be the rust that could be inside structural parts like subframes that isn't obvious yet.
There are too many clean examples out there to have to deal with rust. My 2018 GT looks just the same underneath as it did when I bought...
When I'm driving, I don't want to engage with anyone in any way possible and just want to be left alone. Besides, I took enough chances in my 20s.
"Racing" or otherwise, I don't get involved.
Reminds me of when I bought my former 2007 Mustang GT with no manual experience. The salesman took me on a test drive, and a family member picked me up to get it home.
Some practice in the parking lot of the local school was all it took, despite it being frustrating.
With the S550, try to...
I can relate. 38, and my GT is a sunny day cruiser between May-late October. There are people in my area who seem to intentionally damage nice vehicles. About a month ago, I had an individual stop and put his vehicle in reverse in an attempt to back into my 2018 GT.
He claimed he was trying...
I bought my 2018 GT from Jim Shorkey Ford in White Oak, PA on 8/16/18 with 3 miles on the odometer. 300A base GT with an MT82 and the spoiler delete option.
Currently, it has 8,459 miles. It is garage kept and is stored from late October to the following April to protect it from our winters...
Christian,
I couldn't get the tips to sit level no matter how much I tried to adjust the system. I ended up selling the system and getting most of my money back.
By contrast, the Thermal R&D system went right into place and sat level without any extra time or effort.
I've tried the Borla S Type as well as the AWE Touring and wasn't happy with either of them. Both were too loud all of the time., and the fitment of the AWE Touring was less than ideal given the cost.
Then, I found ZeroTX's video of the Thermal R&D system.
I installed it and couldn't be...
Normally, I love everything Ford Performance. However, their short throw shifter for the S550 was an exception. The only positive was that the knob sat lower than stock.
I removed it and installed an MGW Race Spec. I couldn't be happier with that decision. The MGW is a must have in my opinion
Your video of it on YouTube sold me on this system. After not being happy with the Borla S Type or AWE Touring due to the over the top volume of both systems, I hope I picked a winner this time.
