100% voodoo. Then again, I posted about mine and received feedback in the gt350 side of the forum so it isn’t exactly scientifically sound data.@pilotgore Of the 5 failures you’ve observed, how many were Voodoo vs Coyote?
I’m not qualified to make that determination.May be just enough weight to be significant along with coefficient of expansion differential from metal to plastic??

All except one I know were ronin. To the best of my knowledge, the other only said “my aftermarket plug.” It’s been a few years…..All Ronin? Or Femco as well?
They make one for the 500, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same oil plug, no?I would probably give Fumoto a try if they came out with one (I literally have a Fumoto valve on every car I own excep the 350), but the fact that they've been testing this long and don't have a product out??? And decided things weren't going as planned?? That's interesting to me.
No. The 500 has an aluminum pan (and valve covers), thus it has a traditional threaded oil drain plug. They make one for the 500, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same oil plug, no?
I had no idea. Thanks for the edumication!!!No. The 500 has an aluminum pan (and valve covers), thus it has a traditional threaded oil drain plug.
Then virtually zero chance that was a Femco simply because they didn't start selling valves for the plastic Ford pans until almost 2 years ago to the day.All except one I know were ronin. To the best of my knowledge, the other only said “my aftermarket plug.” It’s been a few years…..
Looks like some of the gt500 guys have problems with their fumoto valves.@pilotgore ...I'm here for you, bro! LOL ;)
FWIW the Fumoto website says the following for the plastic Ford oil pans:Looks like some of the gt500 guys have problems with their fumoto valves.

I'm pretty sure they sold them for a while. They were publicly asking for beta testers a year or more ago and I thought members here had bought them. So, they may have discontinued them for some reason. Or do the GT500s use a metal pan?In some cases, this model has a plastic drain plug. We don't currently have a solution for the plastic plugs. If this is not your case, please choose a valve listed below.
I learned just yesterday that the Gt500 has a metal panFWIW the Fumoto website says the following for the plastic Ford oil pans:
