I would like to hear what you think after you get this installed. I went with the Steeda X pipe and like it a lot. I think it made my Mach 1 more Mach 1ish... if that is possible 😁
X pipe is best ......... nasty, angry sound🔊

I had a 350R which has a resonator delete. It will be interesting to hear the difference. The R had a loud but unique sound! I hope this not quite as loud.

Finally I installed a Steeda H-pipe, I’m loving it! I thought the change would be minor, but it’s quite louder and higher pitched in my opinion, not X-pipe high pitch of course.
It’s like having the angry sound it makes stock at 6-7k RPM, but from 3.5k RPM.

I finally got the X pipe installed today. The X pipe itself weighed 9 pounds, the resonator weighs 16 pounds for a weight savings of 7 pounds. I do like the sound, similar to the 350R with a little deeper sound but not quite as raspy.

I would add that I do hear a big difference between exhaust modes, normal is quite silent vs track in mid range.

Interesting. I could hear no difference in modes with mine, except quite was still quite.

With my X-pipe, Quiet mode is slightly less than Normal was before. Normal mode is Like the Sport mode was and the Sport and Track modes are pretty close to the same thing (no muffler) as there is for all intents no muffler in the circuit with the butterfly wide open. I use the timer to keep from terrorizing the neighborhood with a roaring coyote late at night or early morning.

I have the steeda x-pipe and I can tell a distinct difference with each mode. Each mode is about as loud the one next to it was before. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve heard the same on h-pipe Mach 1’s. In fact there’s more H-pipes than x-pipes.

Mine is an h-pipe and modes change a lot. At least Quiet, Normal and Track are very different.
