I have a buddy with a 350 who lives in Surprise Arizona. He comes out for the Cobra Club event at Willow Springs twice a year. It is hosted by Lynn Park for the past 50 years. The next event will be the last weekend in October. $200 for two days, itās a great event! Go to cocoaoc.org
I have only 5 track days on my HP, 10r80. I havenāt had that issue yet be Iāll be mindful of it. The car does eats more gas than my 350R did and Iāve hit the 50 mile warning twice while on the track.
Willow Springs Race Track a few weeks ago with Lynn Park and the Cobra Club. I didnāt get any good photos but a friend took a couple quick videos. Hopefully they work. A 350 Track Attack car and I were having some fun!
I already had these wheels and I use them on the track. They are the Project 6GRās, 11/11 1/2 and are 9 lbs lighter. They do stick out a bit up front but the fender molding helps.
Heading to Las Vegas speedway, outer track, on Friday with the Shelby Bash. First time running that track. We usually go to Spring Mountain Racetrack which I really like, but they changed it up for this year. Always a great group of people at the event.
I finally got the X pipe installed today. The X pipe itself weighed 9 pounds, the resonator weighs 16 pounds for a weight savings of 7 pounds. I do like the sound, similar to the 350R with a little deeper sound but not quite as raspy.
The A10 is awesome especially on a road course. Upshifts and downshifts are spot on when you let the transmission do the work. And yes my only issue is between 6th and 7th gear. Gears 1 thru 6 are nice and tight but shifting into 7th you drop about 500 RPMās and loose momentum. I wish the tight...
Hopefully you will be able to adjust your car for more negative camber at the track. And when youāre done move it back to street alignment. I have the HP and here are the alignment numbers for street and track.
After market, American Muscle. Just bought the black mirror covers. $79 and removable if you want. Automotive paint store matched the color and put it in a spray can along with a can of clearcoat.
I had a 350R which has a resonator delete. It will be interesting to hear the difference. The R had a loud but unique sound! I hope this not quite as loud.
Just got back from the dealer. The white stuff was dried coolant. There is a block plug that is leaking. Apparently on these engines the block plug screws in. They ordered a new one, probably wonāt be able to get it in until the middle of January.
