Good day everyone. I have a question about replacing battery terminal connectors with special connectors that allow me to add my 0 gauge power wire. Or will this have a negative effect on the battery management system? Thanks for your help. Pic attached

If it conducts electricity - it'll work just fine. Remember those Monster Cables that were all the rage a while ago for high end stereos? Yeah, they conducted electricity just the same as the Wal-Mart cables. Either the electrons move, or they don't.

The connector doesn't make any difference per sey. Where and how you install it might. The positive battery connector should be able to be replaced with no issue. The negative cable has the sensor for the Battery Monitor System in it very close to the connector if not actually part of the connector. As long as you don't eliminate or alter the BMS your car won't care what connectors are on the end of the cables.

That was my concern. Now I just have to locate the sensor and make sure I tread carefully. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
