Anyone have info on all the connections needed to be removed to take off the front bumper cover.

I’ve seen videos on normal Mustangs and that’s helpful but missing a few items.

Before I force anything it would be nice to know the steps.

Ok got it off no issues, a few sneaky bolts/connectors but figured it out.

All back together, super easy. The plastic rivets for the HP splitter are $70.00 unless someone has a line on them. Should be $5 for 10 of them not $3.50 each. Not a big deal but just funny.

Very impressed with the fit and easy reinstallation. Not a struggle that I was worried about.

Watch the 2018 video about Front Bumper removal from LMR. Don't remove the Belly Pan.

Reach the Fender/Bumper 2 nuts on both sides from the top of the engine bay.

Drill out the rivets if you have the HP splitter, if not it's just the screws to remove from under.

Must remove all plastic fasteners in the Front section of the Wheel wells.

Now that I've done it, probably can remove in 30 min max.

What brake setup are you running? Hopefully I'm not derailing the thread, but curious are you sticking with magneride or aftermarket dampers?

Sticking with magneride for now. Have the stock brake calipers with 2-piece front rotors.

Plenty of stopping power, the 2-piece save weight and run cooler.

Removed the heavy inner bumper and installed a Race bar. The reason for the thread.

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-5098-s550-front-bumper-bar

Focused mostly on reducing weight. that alone will make the car way faster then most modifications.

Did you use the Steeda rotors or another company?

Did not use Steeda, used these guys:

Basically the rotors on the Boss 302R

What are you doing for rears? I’ve messaged girodisc about producing a matching rear set but never hear back. I even offered to let them use my damn car if they needed to! My ocd needs matching front and rears

Hahaha, your OCD I understand. Actually just saw someone on the Forum have rear 2-piece rotors that looked very close to giro but different company.....just can't find where I saved it. I'll find it.

That was my problem, because I wanted them to match, ended up going 2 piece steeda front and rear. The Girodiscs are the ones I wanted though…

What else have you got planned for weight savings?
