Front bumper cover paint doesn’t match

Hi all. Looking at a 2022 red mach 1. Paint color is slightly different between the fenders and bumper cover. I have a 2015 same color, Race Red, and the parts all look the same. I’m worried it was painted “off the books”.
Anyone else have a red mustang like this from the factory?

Different materials, metal vs plastic, and painted at different times can lead to the panels being slightly different. It's normal.

How many miles? Does the Carfax say it was in an accident? It would never come that way from the factory. It was repainted at sometime by a horseshit shop.

I would say run from it. Look at another one, the fact you noticed this is a red flag.

100%. Had a white Mach 1 bought new off the floor. Rear bumper and quarter panel were defintely not an exact match.

Interesting, mine matches perfectly. Maybe its got to do with the paint color. But either way its hard to tell from a pic, I have a feeling it was repainted but I would do some very detailed inspection on this one so you dont get surprises OP.

The bumper cover looks slightly pink or flatter, or something. It’s only got 3000 miles, one owner car. Clean carfax.
As I said, my current (9 year old) 2015 matches perfectly. Not sure why a newer car would have less perfect color match.

does look pink and flat but it was a picture so I wasn't t sure. Just roll with it. Go to your local Mercedes Benz dealer and walk the lot, many don t match.
Good chance it was repainted too, not much to do now.

That’s how I do everyone of my cars unless it is a huge accident.

No paint issues on my 22. I would definitely have them repaint even if it wasn’t in an accident. To me doesn’t look glossy doesn’t look like it has a shine to it in your picture. Lots of Machs out there to settle on one….

I cannot really see a great difference in the OP’s photo, here is my 2023 ordered GT Race Red, the bumper seems to match the painted metal, but you tell me if you see otherwise. Thanks.
