Recaro seats?

Sitting in the 68B premium/premier seats is what cemented my plans to skip the Recaros.

Same for me.

I just got back from my dealer where they had an Ecoboost Premium for sales training and I had an opportunity to sit in the seats. They also have a '14 Shelby with Recaros that I was able to compare them with. The Recaros are nice, but the premium seats have, IMO, similar bolstering and comfort plus heating and cooling.

I changed my order to remove the Recaros. Order was initially placed on 5/24.

Nice to see another 14 Shelby owner with Recaros feel the same way. The stock seats are pretty nice!

Recaro ?

I know the 13/14 Recaro seats , at least the driver have a "Pump up" adjustment for seat hgt. Does anyone know if the pass seat has the same feature on the S197 OR the S550 ?

Yes, they are 4-way adjustable. Front to back and up and down

I finally sat in one yesterday. It had stock leather seats, amazing! I ran back in the dealership and changed my Recaros back to stock. Now give me my $1500.addle:

I went to a dealer training the other day and the rep made a comment that the manual seats will come pivot forward and slide forward when using the handle to get in the back, however if you have the 201/401 package that adds the electric seats then the seat only pivots, you will have to move the seats forward by pressing the button.

I plan on getting the 401package.. no one will be behind the drivers seat if anyone ever rides back there.

well plus with 401A you get memory drivers seat so you can move it all over the place to get ppl in and out and the seat will happily return to just where you like it

Considering there would only be one other person regularly driving my car, I would set Number 3 on the Preset Seat Memory to move the seat All the Way Forward and Up just to make it easier to get things out of the Back Seat.
