Been to 3 alignment shops and all of them tell me there is NO adjustment. I find this hard to believe. How are other members adjusting rear camber?

Thank you very much for confirming this Dan. How does 3 different shops not know. :headbonk:The upper inner mounting point is slotted. Loosen the nut slide the upper arm in/out to adjust the rear camber and retighten the nut. The bolt has a flag attached so you don't have to hold it. There are some ford service manual diagrams floating around that show the procedure.
Hoping I can ask a question as o what makes -1 to -1.5 better. I'm sure it's been discussed, but thought I'd ask here since its pertinent. I am getting ready to install my BMR cb005 and did a little legwork to the two shops here in town and they also said the camber isn't adjustable. Wondering how important it is to push them to do it. What would be the advantage of asking for adjustment if it falls within spec. My GT is all stock as far as the suspension goes. I don't track my car but love hot rodding it within reason.I had my car aligned Friday, the shop did an ok job, be he didnt touch the rear camber, he said its the first S550 he's done, he got the rear toe dialed in, but Im taking it back to get the steering wheel fixed, as its off center, and the rear camber needs fixed, its in spec but Id like to see -1 to -1.5
Thank you. Does not get any better than that when explaining to a tech where the camber adjustment is.
Same exact thing with me. Steering wheel is about 5 degrees off center.I had my car aligned Friday, the shop did an ok job, be he didnt touch the rear camber, he said its the first S550 he's done, he got the rear toe dialed in, but Im taking it back to get the steering wheel fixed, as its off center, and the rear camber needs fixed, its in spec but Id like to see -1 to -1.5
that'd be a question Kelly BMR Tech would be more qualified to answerHoping I can ask a question as o what makes -1 to -1.5 better. yup! I just printed that out to bring with me to show the alignment shop, and my wheel is only off very slightly, maybe a few degrees, but I told the alignment guy I cant let that go on a car with under 1000 miles on it, I just cantThank you. I am on the alignment rack and the techs are still telling me that there is no adjustment for rear camber. ZukiDan I read your post to them and now they think they can do it. :lol:The upper inner mounting point is slotted. You can use a gear wrench on it.It is little hard to reach and i believe it can only be done with a open end wrench. I was watching the tech at just tires working on my car and he did a great job. He was a mustang owner also. The rear camber is adjustable from +0.5 up to -2.8 on stock car. saw it with my own eyes. Find another shop. Now the front you cant adjust unless you have camber bolts or plates.
The shop is National Tire and Battery (NTB) and they are absolutely worthless. I went to 3 different locations over the past 2 weeks and alignment is best it has ever been and STILL toe and camber is off. Rear toe is within spec but I would rather have zero toe. He did even it out to 5 on each side so it at least helps car to drive straight now.I get calls from alignment shops all day long asking me how to do it, because they don't see anywhere to adjust.
Quite often, they argue with me. I ask to speak to the owner of the car, and tell them to go elsewhere.
I asked tech if I could put a wrench on it while it was on alignment rack but I think I offended him by asking. He was not skilled to do alignments this was obvious. ThanksYou can use a gear wrench on it.
