I will eventually sell mine after I get the Power pack 2 or 3. As I understand it may or may not work well with tunes. People give conflicting information with little facts. So I will try it out and see. But as of right now, it has made my 5.0 fun as fuck to drive, compared to sport mode and still being limp dicked in throttle response.
I would say it would definitely depend on the tune, yeah. With mine set to 100% and the Lund Flex Fuel tune with 3.73's it felt great in normal. With the added response in the tables that Lund put in for Sport/Track mode it felt slightly twitchy to me in low speed stop and go driving in 1st and 2nd. Could all be driver mod, too. Of course with the knob you can set the amplification down which is extremely useful. It's all going to depend on how agressive the tune's throttle position tables are, what transmission, what gears, and how you PERSONALLY like it

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the orders guys. We've had a bunch of orders come in using the MUSTANG6G coupon code and we really appreciate the business. Thanks for the support guys! If there's anything else we can help you with in the meantime please let me know.

It is just an amplifier of the throttle signal, the pedal max / sprint booster does not change the throttle table or the ECU tune in any way.

All it is doing is changing requested throttle percentage for amount of pedal travel due to it amplifying the signal.

In short pushing the pedal more has the same effect, what the car delivers is still completely down to the ECU as the pedal max is not bypassing the ECU in anyway, if it did then it would actually be very bad for the running of the car.
i cannot thumbs up this post enough.

Just curious... Have the PP drivers driven the other gears? Maybe throttle mapping is different?

I can tell you that mashing the gas pedal is still not bringing the same results. Rev matching is hindered greatly by trying to blip the throttle and nothing happening.

I have the Premium and I find that Normal mode is completely boring. Sport mode is much better. I drive in Track mode all the time...even in rain, lol!! All I can say is Normal mode is unbearable. Yes it is that bad. If you were stuck with Normal mode you'd regret buying this car, lol!! So I am interested in these devices but not enough yet that I'll buy one. For now, Track mode is just perfect. If I get bored with Track mode then I'll definitely spring for one of these devices provided they don't start having issues and causing havoc...on other cars I have seen it cause faulty input or the ECU couldn't properly read the throttle position and thus throw on a CEL and make the car go into reduced power mode. If that doesn't happen with these and if I get bored with Track mode then I'll get one. But for now my money is better spent on other mods like cams and headers, lol!!

But for the record, these devices do work incredibly well especially around town. They won't affect quarter mile times since you're WOT thru the majority of the 1/4 mile, but I could see it having an advantage when canyon carving or on back roads or a circle/oval track where you're constantly on and off the throttle.

Must be something different then. My PP/Premium rev matches spot on when I blip.

Well that kind of supports my theory. I don't have a PP and when I try to blip the throttle I don't get much response and have to push so far down that the timing is completely thrown off.

The PedalMAX and knob is off my car at the moment. If anyone is interested and IF you are a known member here and live in the SoCal area feel free to hit me up and I will let you try it out on your car.

Thumbs up to distorted and incorrect information? Good for you

In mine it isn't. I have track mode 100% of the time.

My favorite posts are the ones where people write that car is quicker with pedal max...

Not saying you were directing that at me, but to clarify for others I have never said that.

Well track mode is mapped different if I'm not mistaken. I have a Base GT and even with all nannies off, throttle response is painfully slow.

Well, this subject got a whole lot more interesting for me. As I had mentioned yesterday, I was one of the skeptical ones about this device. I really wasn't sure I needed it or that it would do much over my 4 drive modes (specifically "Track" mode), especially for the price.

Well, last night, a local forum member saw my post on this thread, PM'd me that he had one for sale, and a few hours later, I purchased it and installed it.

It is quite a difference! I'm definitely impressed. I now understand what people have been raving about with this device. I haven't had a ton of time to drive with it yet. I'm currently running it at 100% (seller didn't have the little "pill" to make it 60%). The response is definitely much better. Even better than Track mode. Plus, you can have that same response in all of the modes which is a huge plus. Ultimately, I will probably get the knob so I can control it on demand. I could potentially see where 100% might actually be a bit too much all the time. Then again, I may just need to get used to it.

EDIT: I just wanted to add that while this device obviously does absolutely nothing in regards to adding horsepower or torque, I would have to wonder if saying that it makes the car faster is really a stretch. I mean technically, if you're able to get full throttle out of your car "faster" I could potentially see how this might allow you to run a slightly quicker 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc. then you otherwise would. We're talking very small, incremental stuff, but still it does make the car "feel" faster and I would say it improves the driving experience (in a similar way that the Steeda clutch spring improves the shifting experience).

Correct, it is. Wet is one table, Normal is one table, and Sport/Track share the same third table.

I've been working through mods on my list one by one. Haven't been in this section much till now. I'll check it out, thanks.
