I think I wanna say in the owners supplement/manual it states to use nothing more than an 11 degree ramp I believe. The 5" clearance sounds right as well, believe it is a hair more but not much.

My splitter is about 3.5 feet from the ground hanging on the shop wall. I removed it the first day . It was just under 5 in. from the road. The problem it is so far forward of the front wheels.

I recommend you keep the yellow shipping blocks in to give a little extra clearance on the trailer.

For reference, my ground clearance is right at 4.5” and splitter is 36” ahead of front tire. Had to rig a ramp

When things settle down, the Mach 1 supplement, Page 32 and 33, offers detailed diagrams.

Grades no higher than 7% are recommended.

Not a lot of room. I'm surprised I have not scraped mine yet.
