@CraigJ

How is it as far as being rigid and safe with car supported on it?
I can triple concur that the Quick Jack is rock solid. I kinda thought the same thing...with the blocks being rubber I figured 'they had to move a little bit'. Nope. So just to see if I could make it unstable I double stacked the 2" and 3" blocks (I did this with a Jeep, I wasn't trying this with any of MY Mustangs!!) and saw no movement. So then I put some of those 1"-2" rubber pucks, like what you use for pinch weld jacking, on top of the 2"-3" stack, and was able to get some appreciable movement when shaking the Jeep. So lesson is don't double stack the blocks and you should never have a problem....

Also, like others have said... be prepared to get more friends and family visits! I actually get to see my 27 year old son more than once a month now!! :)

Got mines last month during a costco sale. I have shifteck rails. So easy to lift as opposed to jack and stands. I just use the small blocks. Lift feels sturdy and two different height options.

depends on the slope. anchor some string strung all the way across the garage and measure the drop at the approx location of the jack placement. But yes, you're probably overthinking it.
Thanks, I got them all assembled and setup today. Put a level across and I'm maybe 1/4" different side to side, probably about an 1/8"... So yeah, I guess I was over thinking it. lol

I just want to comment on the quality of these units. I saw a thread where some guy was questioning the quality saying the welds were shit, and no certification. Well, I'm not sure what that guy saw, but from what I can see these units are pretty pro. My welds look good, the components look to be great quality and everything appears to be pretty damn heavy duty. Also, my units came with serial number plaques and certification stamps.

My only advice to others, follow the setup instructions to the letter, do not rush it. ALSO, my instructions DID NOT mention anything about bleeding the hydraulic rams. This MUST be done, my system was full of air and I bled out quite a bit.

Got them all set up and she runs like a top! Super stoked for these jacks, guna be a game changer for sure! For anyone on the fence, stop thinking, just do it!

^ I like the tape on the floor! I need to do that.

My only watchout with the the QJ is that it has snagged on something in my undercarraige a couple of times when backing up (I store it under my parking spot in the garage). I'm not sure exactly how or where, but I am always super careful to make sure it is fully lowered, and I remove the rubber blocks. Then I test clearance.

Still loving mine. Worth the price.

Got a bit of optical illusion going on in that pic. I was trying to figure out why you had the hose end below your floor level. LoL

I need to put some hazard stripes on both sides of mine. And also on the ends to reflect how far I might move them front to back depending on vehicle.

I considered a lift... I really want a lift... but my garage ceiling is low. :(

It was a better option for me to just get the QJ, which fits in my garage, I can take with me if I move, or sell if I no longer use...

Maybe the review you read was a Chinese knock-off. Quite common for anything like this.

My mustang clears the quick Jack's with a 1/2" to spare, (with me only in the car). I also have to make sure that the rubber spacers are removed. Also my car has a 1" drop and rides on shorter tires to make the ground clearance even lower.

danmar m6 lifts about 4 feet......that should be high enough for garages.

I lagged a bike rack into a 6"x6" post I have holding up the mezzanine in my barn. I hang the lift pieces up on that when I'm not using it, easy peasy. Love my Quickjack.

They are low enough for any of my vehicles to drive over. I just leave them in the center of a bay and park over them. When needed, I just reach under the vehicle and pull them out to the jacking points (BMR rails in the Mustang) and connect the hoses.
