ProFlex commander

I just got a great deal on a ProFlex commander for my gt350. I received the package and when I opened it there seems to be some extra wiring and the fuel lines aren’t the same as the ones shown on the advanced fuel dynamics site. Was wondering if anyone can help identify what this other harness is for and if the kit will work with the supplied fuel lines. Any help would be appreciated.

Best advice is to reach out to whom you purchased the device from. There are definitely some non standard wires/parts there.

Longest plug goes to driver's side, closest to driver.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your input. I’ve watched this video and a few others and I think I know how to do the installation. But I’m thinking this must be a very early version of the commander because if you go to their site the harness in picture two isn’t part of the kit and I have no idea where the two connectors go.

Agreed, it does look quite a but different from other versions I have seen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this flex commander thing just spoofs your injector signals to account for e85.

Which means you can't really add a ton of timing or power because the ECM has no signal from this setup. You need to tune the ECM for gasoline. It seems like all it really does is allow the car to run on ethanol, not so much make a bunch of extra power.


How much power does it add?

May want to look at the link below as well. There's some debate over whether the tune contributed to the engine blowing. Not saying it did or didn't. Just offering a data point as you move forward. Good luck.

IMHO the Proflex unit did not contribute to her blown engine.
