Proflex commander

Looking for anyone with firsthand experience with the proflex commander kit. Is it worth it? Does it actually make power etc? Any helpful input would be helpful

E85 will inherently provide a boost in hp with a decrease in gas mileage.

My buddy has a Proflex on his car. Don't expect the app to work very reliably (simply displays the fuel ethanol %), but the device works very well.

I just put an AFD PROFLEX Commander on my car last week. After my 2nd tank of E85 I was at 74% ethanol and the car rips. The additional HP and torque are very noticeable. This system is brilliant. The install took an hour 1/2 from a novice and can be removed quickly. If you have warranty issues down the road, you just need to get back down to 10% ethanol and remove the PROFLEX before taking it into the dealership. This is well worth the money!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but am curious why you uninstalled or removed yours? Considering getting one and have been googling it and came across this thread.

I was not ready to do a tune to take proper advantage of E85, and don't think running E85 with the ProFlex and no tune was providing enough benefit to justify the hassle of running E85. If/when I go for E85 I'll do a full tune.
