I've installed both. HO kit is a bit easier then the stage 2 kit but only because of the crank pulley. It's not difficult just takes a bit more time. The sc belt is really easy to put on the stage 2 kit though.

Also if you throw/shred the belt you can still drive home. Though I do have a spare :D. The big intercooler is real nice too.

IMO if a kit offers a dedicated drive, you buy it.

Maybe I'm stuck in my old ways, but I remember when kits that shared a belt drive were a pain in the ass to maintain with lots of slipping and shredding. I know the current generation of kits are a lot better designed though.

I remember one old kit I had where you barely got 1/3 of the pulley overlapped so above 4psi it just slipped. Not to mention the stupid kit used the smooth side of the belt! So stupid! I had to redesign the entire pulley system and have custom ribbed s/c and idler pulleys made, as well as ordering 10 custom double sided ribbed belts made to my own spec and completely re-engineering how the belt wraps around several other components to create a full wrap on the s/c.

Well said, I remember those days as well. I must have went through 20 belts sorting out my old Cobra with a Novi 2000 on it. I would have killed for a dedicated 8 rib.

I'd love to see a copy off the manual myself. I wonder if ProChargerTECH could give us a link?

I provided a link to a copy in the 2nd post.

Edit: oh, I suspect you mean statge 2 manual with the direct drive setup? If you just email procharger they will send you a copy. that is how I got the one I linked.

And I thank you but that one is for the HO. Similar but not exact I wouldn't think.

Install is cake on the stage 2. No harder than the stage 1. I posted a ton of pics on my build thread. The pulley is cake to put on. The only hard part was moving the front sway bar back and the word hard is an exaggeration here. 2 out of 10 on install difficulty.

I jsut read the manual and it looks almost too easy. I am used to doing installs on SN95s and those were a PITA.
