In all honesty the two biggest pain points are removing the front fascia...and that's only for the fear of breaking clips. The second is the discharge hose on the head unit...not hard just tedious.

Install is cake on the stage 2. No harder than the stage 1. I posted a ton of pics on my build thread. The pulley is cake to put on. The only hard part was moving the front sway bar back and the word hard is an exaggeration here. 2 out of 10 on install difficulty.
After just installing a "bolt on" lift kit onto my jeep this weekend.

I would say doing this blower kit is a 1 or 2 on a scale of 10 LOL.

NOTE: Nothing wrong with the lift kit. Just that it requires a cutoff wheel, sawsall, and about 6 pairs of jack stands and two jacks, and 6 hands. LOL

Question for anyone who has put in a stage II procharger Kit.

I wrapped up my install the other day and everything went as straight forward as anticipated. Start to finish maybe 6 hours?

Question is did anyone else find the need to trim the fan shroud to allow for clearance of the head unit? I Could have probably forced it on, but would have really struggled for clearance when installing the angle cut tube.

I dont have any reason to think its going to bring up a problem in the future, but never heard of anyone else having this issue?

Also curious if anyone can recomend a data log software. I am currently working with an Intune I2 and custom Tunes W/ DiabloMatt who has been incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my process.

Dave,

I usually install that tube first... then slide the blower down into the tube.
When I use a little windex to help the "slide" it works really well.

Takes a few trimmings of the rubber tube to get it "just right"

Never had to trim a fan shroud.
Also, if the "snail" isn't clocked just right, it might touch.
Just loosen those allen bolts, to rotate it a bit.

We place them in jigs before the leave so that they are the same.
However, its not saying all cars clearances are the same either.

Could you let me know if anything looks a bit off here? Its already been trimmed so as long as im not running anything risky I could leave it

That looks way off , it shouldn't be close to the fan shroud at all and for sure not touching... wonder if you have the blower mounted incorrectly on the plate... Something is off for sure...

You can rotate the "snail" and you will be all good.

Send me a PM with your serial number.
I want to log this.

This is the top view
Ill let ProChargerTECH chime in but I think you need to re-clock the head unit one bolt counter clockwise. take a look at mine. I am stage two so their might be a difference but you head unit is clocked straight up and down and mine is canted to the right.

You two are both super quick on this.

Here is a back view, I didnt see how the blower could have gone on at all if I didnt skip the first bolt

No clue why the picture keeps posting upside down, but I think you get the idea

you will loosen these bolts all the way around and turn the snail. ProChargerTECH can correct me if I am wrong. The backside looks fine...
