  1. Whipple to Custom Tune for Stage 2 Whipple

Yes on good fresh 93, there are no issues. No timing being pulled etc. I monitor KR closely, my ngauge is set to flash red when it goes positive.
  2. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

The red line is the worst....cool morning with the EB. The 2 lower lines are Whipple, those are the quicker times. Doesnt look like there is much difference anyway, except the smile on Burkeys face.
  3. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesnt this graph show the whipple being a little faster?
  4. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

I'm going to go on record with a prediction..... I'm guessing the whipple will be a little faster, but the Edlebrock will feel better in terms of "seat of the pants". I'm really interested in the outcome!
  5. High HP 3" exhaust resonator fitment issue.

I'd highly reccomend the bullets, they really take the edge off especially around town. There is really no downside except for 7-8lbs and $200 or so! 9.7 at 140 is no joke. As Cole Trickle once famously said "That bitch is perfect, don't touch a thing!"
  6. s550 Cover recommendations

I had the same situation when I first got my car. If your worried about hail or storm damage then CoverKing autobody armor is about your best bet, but its not cheap. The only issue with a cover is that unless the car is clean you risk scratching the paint. I coated my car with Cquartz and...
  7. High HP 3" exhaust resonator fitment issue.

I'll say this...Magnaflow themselves said it wasnt the best option for 700+hp cars. You could say Stang17 lost 22hp from an X to the resonator, granted on different days. It's not much but why lose anything when we work so hard to make power. I'm not hating....I really wanted to use it...
  8. High HP 3" exhaust resonator fitment issue.

@Roh92cp I wish I saw this thread sooner, I went down this exact road and ended up with the same results. @stang17 I welded in some Magnaflow Magnaflow 12229 3" in place of my MBRP mufflers. No drone....and pretty tame.
  9. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

That would bother me as well. Local guy or one of the big names?
  10. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

Are you on the Edlelbrock tune, or a custom? Has the tuner weighed in on this?
  11. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

@Burkey Just saw this reply. Thats some crazy KR ratings you have going on there at part throttle. Have you made any headway on it?
  12. I need more zing from the Whipple 3.375?

How do you like the 3.73's?
  13. How much oil are you using?

I just emailed them, gave them the year and everything..... they recommended 5w50. I know your an "inner circle Whipple guy", maybe ask them and let me know.
  14. Edelbrock vs Gen 2 Whipple

Easy enough to drop in a little boostane or the like and cross that off the list. I keep a close eye on my KR and ran into an issue where all of the sudden they were looking bad. I had only used 2 favorite gas stations. Dropped a little Boostane in, and it straightened right out...
  15. Tonneau covers, what to do with 'em?

I looked long and hard to find a reasonable set, put them on once and forgot I had them. Until I saw this thread.
  16. How much oil are you using?

So I contacted Whipple and they recommended 5w50 going forward. Thanks for brining it to my attention!
  17. How much oil are you using?

I keep meaning to send an oil sample in but never feel like messing with it when the time comes.
  18. How much oil are you using?

I'm wondering when Whipple started reccomended 5-50. I'm relatively certain my manual calls for OEM weight.
  19. How much oil are you using?

Great news. Looks like I need to step up my oil checkin!
  20. How much oil are you using?

I've got a '15 with a Gen 3 Whipple and a JLT catch can. In somewhere between 2-3k the car has used a quart of oil. Still need to check the catch can. In runs great and doesnt smoke so I'm not paniced yet. I'm curious if this is inline with the norm?
