ProCharger or Palm Beach Dyno

How’s it going guys, wondering if y’all could help me out.

I have a 2021 mustang gt, and I wanna get a ProCharger for it soon. I just don’t know wether to buy it directly from ProCharger or buy it from Palm Beach Dyno. Reason I ask that is because I could just buy the tuner kit from Procharger and then buy my own injectors and pump and then buy a tune, or I can buy the Procharger kit from Palm Beach Dyno and order the injectors, pump and tune from them.

I purchased a slightly used Procharger stage 2 for my 19GT. Tune was locked to first owner. So had to purchase a new tune. I went with PBD based on the number of folks who recommended them to my indy installer. Car never got off the dyno as the 15k mile engine blew up. Can't say with 100% the remote tuning was/is bad but they haven't responded to a few inquiries I asked thru their own website under my account. Not sure will this will end up but be forewarned.

Damn sorry about the engine that must’ve been frustrating. You think ordering it directly from Procharger and the getting it tuned on a Dyno is the better option?

I belive only way to tune on dyno is buy "tuner" version so your tuner has complete control. If you buy a base tune from one of the dozen tuners it's locked. Only they can remote tune either on a dyno or you data log, send a file, they mod it send back, rinse repeat. Sounds like you need to do much more research before this large a purchase. Wish I did.

PBD is a tuning/Dyno shop. I wouldn’t ever purchase parts through Ken. That’s just me. My bud had ordered a few things from them, and both times, it was a nightmare with delayed shipping, and upcharged pricing.

Or, save thousands and buy an ESS kit, and then get it @Wengerd Performance tuned

Order from a shop. The margins aren’t great for them but it help supports the community. They’ll also be on the hook for recommendations so if something doesn’t work you have someone to reach out to for help. If you buy from Procharger good luck getting any shop to help you out beyond selling you more parts.

yeah I’m fairly new to superchargers but not to tuning, but I’m learning as I go, thanks for the help appreciate it!

Get an ESS kit and install it yourself, nice and easy... you will save some money as well.
