My beef is only with blower mode. Everything else has a button/knob.

I think that is only for the settings on traction control

No its definitely the same thing. I have base gt and you hit it 2 times to activate sport mode. Iv driven the premium amd when you yous the switch gives the same info on the display and felt the same woth throttle response and eaveverything.
Thers a thred on hear listing how to get all the different nodes. It's not all in the same spot like on the premium but I'd definitely can access this all

Ps some wear in manual it even says on sport mode "some models press TC 2 times back to back"
Or something like that

I agree with you about the sport mode displaying when pressing the traction control twice. Are you sure about the track mode though? When I hold the traction control down for 5 seconds it displays that AdvanceTrac has been turned off. Is that what displays on the Premiums when Track mode is selected?

Also, I didn't know about the throttle response etc. Guess I'll always be pressing that button every time I start.

I don't know exactly about the trackm
Mode but from what Iv read it's just spirt mode with all driver aids turns off.

Idk if it changes shift points on auto cars or not.

Base may not have ever mode but I think you can't basically do it by playing around with it. The only one I'm positive on is the sport mode since I used it.

Still wish I had the switchS tho...

only reason i got premium was for the toggles....unfortunate i had to get leather....
for the base if they offered the toggles i would have ordered that instead....with the perf pack and cloth seats....had leather in the 2003, and 2012 GT/CS i had and really was bla about the leather....after it wears it looks like its about 100yrs old...as where clothe looks just like clothe

Agree, and why I ordered cloth. I'll deal with pressing a button instead of flipping a toggle.

Me too. My 2002 SVT Focus had leather and it looked worn out at 30k miles. My 2012 Focus has cloth with 93k on it and it looks the same as it did 3yrs ago.

Nearly the same question from me.

I've never had a reason to pay $700+ for something my phone already does, why is that such an attractive option?
The fact that it is satellite based rather than cellular is the only thing I can think of. I have never really understood it either.

Because it's a pain to hold a phone in one hand while trying to look at the nav screen and then drive with the other hand?
