Base GT with PP, No Driving mode option?

The only way my car took on a more powerful tone was to replace the catback!

That's how I see it.

For Premium Models In Post #32, in the Benefits column only in Track Mode it says Engine responds directly to your inputs , and takes on a more powerful tone.

Does that mean in all the other driving modes there is reduced throttle input ???

I honestly don't see what the fuss is about.

Base GT: 435hp, 400lb-ft torque.
Premium GT: 435hp, 400-lb-ft torque.

The little flippy-dippy switch on the dash is not going to make much difference.

The reason I am interested in sorting this out is I prefer the cloth Recaro Seats for track use, generally leather is not used for track use seats. However, you can only get the Cloth Recaro in the Base, the Premium Recaro's are Leather. Seems backwards from a track user perspective. No "Track Mode" with the "Base" model cloth Recaro's.
I understand Track users are a small minority.

That's why I got a base gt with recaros. I bought this car for fun so I wanted the go fast bits without the extra weight of things that don't. And the traction control and stability control can be turned off completely. That's half the point of track days for me, to learn the limits of the car in a safe environment. Sport mode in the base turns off traction control and tones down the stability control but it is still active. This would be your track mode equivilent on a base if you still want stability control engaged.

Whether its placebo or just subjective, mine sounds different, slightly, when everything is "off" (push and hold for 5 seconds). I have an MBRP street catback/H-Pipe and BBK CAI.
