Hi guy!

first of all do you guys think it’s right time to buy a mustang or the prices are still high?

secondly would you guys recommend the 2015-2017 mustang GT or 2018-2022 GT? Why? What are your thoughts on the 6speed auto and 10speed auto?

FYI I found a convertible 2017 California special with 10k Mike’s on it, the guy is selling it for 37k. Is that a fair price?? Or one can get the facelift for that price?
Let‘s see now, 37K for a six MY old used car that you could buy some iteration of in a brand new 2023 in the 50K-ish range?

That math might work for some but it sure doesn’t compute for me.

The 2015-2017 definitely has the better looking front end, but that’s not to say that the 2018+ is bad looking, it still looks excellent. The Gen 3 Coyote put it over the edge for me, it just wants to rev. Can’t go wrong though.
That's like saying Pam Anderson definitely has the better face than Marilyn Monroe. They're both hot. Some prefer one, some prefer the other. Regardless, they're both yesterday's model.

Yeah it makes sense what you are saying…. So what do you think a 2017 should go for?

I honestly have no idea. But take a look at KBB prices for any other cars in this price range and compare new new 2023 pricing to used 2017 and you’ll get an idea. These are really great cars for sure but they aren’t necessarily scarce like Ferraris going through Barrett-Jackson.

The nod goes to Marilyn for 2 reasons, no hep C and no Tommy Lee.

The color sold me on my car. It was a 18 only color so that was that for me. Either way the s550 is a great car in either year. Personally i like the 18 more. I like the more angular looks. The 15-17 looked to close to my wifes fusion in front for my taste. But all things being fair either one is great.

The sticker price on that California special convertible was probably low to mid 40s. Now its out of warranty and 5 years old. Selling for 37k is laughable and a bad financial move.

In my opinion its still a bad time to buy any used car.

The window sticker say $50k but I get your point. What you said makes sense

Hep C is very easily curable. Tommy Lee, however, is not.

IMO the best looking Mustang would be a 2018 with a 2017 nose and a hood vent delete.

Go for the newer one if you have the loot. New car smell, warranty and no prior abuse is nice.
