Have you attempted to open a Case with Ford Corporate through the 800#?Nothing other than I still have not been reimbursed from the original fix that I paid for out of pocket.
If you have and they still denied your claim, here’s what you can do to light a fire under them:
1) Call back and request a Supervisor.
2) Explain to that Supervisor the issue.
3) Then also make the point that if Ford is covering the 2nd repair under warranty then Ford is making that repair because it is in fact a warranty issue. Therefore if they are fixing the 2nd instance under warranty, they are admitting fault and the FIRST claim should have been fixed in the same manner. Your out of pocket expense for the First Claim should be reimbursed in full.
4) If the Supervisor gives you shit about it or wants to still deny the claim - you tell them you’re going to go public and hit all of their Social Media sites as to how you’re being treated and how they won’t reimburse your money.
5) If the Supervisor still doesn’t understand your position, then you say you will file a BBB Claim and will be notifying your Local News Station’s Investigative Team for Warranty Fraud. Point being again, if Ford is fixing the paint damage under warranty for the 2nd claim - they are admitting that the paint damage is being caused by some sort of manufacturing defect that falls within the 3/36 OR the 5/60 Paint/Corrosion warranty. So therefore again, Ford should reimburse you your money for the first claim.
There’s no damn difference between the 1st or 2nd warranty claim - other than the fact that Ford is fixing the 2nd instance under warranty and scammed you out of your money on the 1st. That would be Warranty Fraud, because they made you pay for damages that should have been covered the first time just as they are being covered now at the 2nd instance.
You have to remain professional and firm in your position and use all of the above when talking with Ford Corp - that should get the fire burning.
Don’t back down. Even if they deny you again, keep calling back until you are made whole. As much as a PIA it is, you are due back your money, period.
