Subscribed. Please report back with your dealership experience. I also have a small chip on one of mine (no curbing) that either resulted from flying debris while driving or ??? I honestly planned to use touch-up paint on it, but not sure if I can get it to match/blend.For whatever reason it keeps failing when I try to upload a picture. There is zero other damage around it. You can tell there was no impact with a curb or any other object just a clean eraser size chip with no scratches or anything around it.
Ridiculous. Going to the dealer now.
Mine definitely happened while washing it. I was thoroughly spraying it down with the garden hose and was up close and personal and it wasn't there. Then when I started washing it with the microfiber it was clear it appeared. I don't have a single chip anywhere on the vehicle so it's not like I was behind a big rig spraying gravel all over the truck or anything...Subscribed. The warranty that I have will replace the wheel for any imperfections on the face of the wheel.i dont think wheel and tire would replace a wheel because of a chip.
I have the tire and wheel warranty and I had a tire replaced and repair to the wheel performed when the wheel was curbed. They don't replace the wheels for cosmetic damage but they do repair them.i see. this is what i have. it says excludes cosmetic damage

The dealer did. And I had assumed it was with Ford. Are you saying that it's a third party?Did you file a claim with the insurance company that the policy is with? I read the terms of the contract and followed the claim. I had the option to take my car anywhere. I chose the dealership because my car was there for something anyway. I gave the dealership body shop the claim number and it was a done deal. If you can't use the warranty you purchased then cancel it and get your money back.
