I know. I am just saying....BREMBO.....is one of the few brakes that are "branded"...... they are better then the standard brakes on the mustang for sure....6 vs 4 piston. Just people think BREMBO is just awesome tech...when in reality they are just another mass produced brake product that happens to have name recognition.
It's partly knowing I have it there to scrub off speed in an emergency and partly bragging rights. Goodness knows I don't use the capability all the time. I did have to step on the brakes hard last week and thought :headbang: :ford:
Occasionally, I find myself on a backroad going through the gears, braking accelerating, and pushing it more than normal. Just knowing I don't have to worry about brake capability is great.

No, he is right. Brembos are "branded"... "Branded" to Corvettes, Porsches, etc...

It looks like just having a GT alone is worth it in terms of resale...based off my internet searches.

You think non-PP brakes are unable to lock the wheels if you nail the brakes ? There's likely an advantage in repeated braking - on track. On the street - not really...

But bragging rights are important :)

GT vs. Eco - definitely. Mustang in general - hell no.
From what I've seen? The Mustang is holding up better at a much cheaper purchase price than my BMW is. If I tried to trade in my BMW, without a down payment, I'd get DESTROYED. Mustang is holding much better.

That, or they're both just THAT bad.

I don't think we really need to degrade into the very simple conceptual physics theories of energy conversion here, but yeah more swept area and larger rotors actually do lead to greater braking forces.

Being able to "lock the wheels" is a matter of grip, which is afforded by the tires for the most part (somewhat through suspension geometry, very minor aero aids, etc)

0.95, only when the weather is warm.

PP works the other way too, as the temp drops, skidpad will drop lower than 0.83 at some point, and you will want A/S or even winters, and that's $2500 + $1000.
Why do you think that? I can buy base takeoffs for $1200

I daily drive mine thanks for the torsen info btw, and i was going to buy a base non pp but it sold and the only silver one left was a pp i had to have a light color, so it was only 1500 more after the autotrader price so i said wth...If only ford would offer the pp with torsen with 3.31 3.55 and 3.73 options that would be great!!
From what I understand the power packs allow you to change gear ratios. Also, had a 2016 and put in the Steeda clutch spring and now have a 2017 and the stock spring feels like the steeda - fixed. :ford:
