Since @tmilliner24 posted photos in post# 12, we can see that he does have the 20-spoke black PP rims and the valve positions prove they are a staggered set. If all the tires are 255 then someone has installed narrower than stock tires at the rear.

He could always place a 1x4 board on edge on the floor and up against the inside tire, and then use a tape measure slipped through the spokes, to compare the relative widths of the wheels.

That's great to know, never noticed it. But how do you know which wheel is which (front or rear) ? just curious.
In the case of the PP1 wheel design, the smaller hole / smaller clearance (around the valve) = smaller wheel (front) :like:

Go back to whomever installed the tires and tell them they screwed up and need to fix it…. It’s definitive by your later pics you do have the PP1 staggered set.

How is it a tire shop can’t do something as simple as mounting the correct tires?

And if they tell you there’s an upcharge for the wider tires for the rears - tell them they can eat the cost for your frustrations and having to waste time coming all the way back to their location to have them fix something their “professionals” screwed up.

This is really interesting. I just had tires (square) installed, and know wheels were swapped front to back. Was wondering how to tell for sure 9 vs. 9.5 without dismount to be positive. Going to look at my valve stems now for sure. Great informative post here 👍🏻

This is what I was curious about. I never noticed it before. Now I know. It's obvious if the wheels are off to see the difference. 90% of the time the installer doesn't let you see what's going on until it's too late.
