That's a very good result for a first try. Headlights on my Audi Q-7 are trashed, inside and out. 1200 bucks each for replacement. Kills me. Haven't replaced yet. Same deal on my SHO, 800 bucks each. And tariffs just made them cost more. Oh well, maybe a winter project lol.
This is what I'm talking about. The first 3 are the trunk lid, inside. Not metal, don't know what it's made of, maybe plastic of some kind or fiberglass. Very lightweight.
The second 2 are the body itself. Paint comes off if I scrub it. Shitty paint or just old.
Any input appreciated...
So, here's a question for the Guru's. My 03 SN95 has like mildew or mold stains on the trunk lid and trunk body lines. I've tried cleaner wax and other products, and the stains won't come off. If I scrub it too hard the paint comes off. Cheap original Ford paint job. Any options other than...
Update. I let it sit for a bit and then did the forced sync reset. So far everything is functioning again. I really have a love hate relationship with this car lol. Great when it's working as it should, but so much depends on the electrical system, it's scary sometimes.
So, replaced the 6-year-old battery today. Still acting up. Starting to irritate me now lol. No power button working and touchscreen inop too. I posted in another thread about it too.
Any ideas appreciated.
So, my problem is a little different. Battery crapped out, replaced today. Nothing was functioning. It would power up, show the nav, phone, and then go to needs wifi access. Decline wifi, went back to normal screen, but nothing would work. At first it made a buzzing sound when I hit the power...
Had to replace my 6-year-old battery today. Not complaining, had a decent run.
Now I need to figure out why the infotainment center decided to take a poop.
So, I haven't really driven the car lately, but I did today. Took it for a little ride and the screen worked fine, for a little while. Got back home and it wouldn't allow volume adjust by the steering wheel or radio. I shut it off and the screen wouldn't go to the off setting. It stayed on the...
This is what I was curious about. I never noticed it before. Now I know. It's obvious if the wheels are off to see the difference. 90% of the time the installer doesn't let you see what's going on until it's too late.
