So everyone seems to be getting 25mm spacers for these wheels to get it flush or maybe 1-2mm of poke. I picked up some since my front wheels are really tucked under there and I got like 3/4 inch of poke in the back, its ridiculous. How is this fitting on other peoples cars?

What size are those tires? They poke a bit with stock tires, if you're running something wider, it'll poke more. Keep in mind that 25mm is 1" (basically), so how far in were the tires without the spacers? Is it even on both sides of the car? Could be the subframe isn't centered to the car (get the Steeda alignment dowels to fix that) and it makes it more apparent on one side with the spacer installed.

Subframe is aligned with Steeda kit. Both sides are even. These are MY19 PP1 rims with the MP4S tires 275/40/19, maybe thats why? I don't know if they run wider than the Pirellis that came with the 15-17 cars. It doesn't look as bad in the picture but there is a LOT sticking out.

The MP4S has a pretty healthy rim protector feature, so they sidewall near the wheel comes out probably 5mm father than some other street tires. That may explain some of it.

How much rear camber do you have? Camber is one of the largest variables when it comes to poke (although it does look like you have more than a little camber from the image).

I checked my alignment sheet and I'm seeing -1.9 on both sides in the rear.

well you shouldn't go more than that. 1.9 is a good maximum, any more and you'll give up straight line grip quickly.

I think people prefer a 20mm spacer in the rear because poke.

Yeah I'm just going to sell these and move on, I might do extended studs and smaller ones later. They were cheap enough to gamble on.

Here is my story with 25mm spacers on my 2017 GT PP. I lowered my car with Steeda Extreme springs and added the spacers at the same time and crossed my fingers. Picked up the car and it looked super aggressive and rears were flush with the fenders I was worried but took it for a drive and to my surprise no rub and that was without the car being aligned yet I was super happy thrilled and lucky.

Fast forward three weeks and I replaced the stock Pirellis with Michelin Pilot sports I had waiting in the garage and the rears were rub city. Ugh I was kicking myself I had the car aligned 2.5 negative camber still rubbing not as bad but I was. So I bought a set of 20mm spacers installed those on the rears only crossed my fingers again and it pretty much solved my issue. I get a slight rub on the rear drivers side on extreme compression. But looking by eye I think the subframe is out of alignment I’ll be ordering the Steeda subframe alignment kit soon. But I guess long story short the Michelin’s run wider then the Pirellis do. So I would suggest going down to a 20mm spacer and I think you would be happy there cheap enough.

Did you have to trim the studs at all? Sounds like the wider tire is my issue.

From all the pics I have seen, the MP4S tires have a wider profile than the previous Pirelli's, even though they are the "same" size. Because of this, on my 2019 PP with the original PP wheels and MP4S tires, I bought the extended ARP studs and OP Mustang slip on spacers. After quite a bit of measurement, I went with 15mm on the rear and 20mm on the front. I don't want any poke. Rather have a slight tuck than any amount of poke. My car is rather low on Steeda coilovers and did not want to contend with any tire rubbing on inner fender.

I plan to install everything this weekend and will take some pics and post them. I have not seen any with this specific combo.

I hate the look of the PP1 wheels with spacers. The poke looks ghetto to me. But to each their own i guess....and I don't trust spacers.

Stock PP1 wheel and tire setup, BMR springs, and 25mm billet hubcentric spacers all around from CJ's. I drive very aggressive mountain roads and it doesn't rub at all. I am still trying to find a set of used 9.5 front PP1 wheels to go square.

Looks good! The difference is definitely the MP4S tires they're a lot wider on the rim than the Pirrellis.

Man, I may have to try those some time. I plan to report back whenever I step up in tire size. It seems like nowadays newer cars are coming from the factory with the fender lips rolled in which is good.
