Adams Polishes Advanced Gold Graphene Coating, this is Junior from Need4speed Motorsports.
I have used many different coatings and I have to say this coating does really great compared to others i have used. I applied it to my personal car on the paint, wheels and windows.

LOVED the videos, you two! I'd never seen the series but I laughed and laughed.

Some Sarah bead porn during a wash. (she's never experienced rain.)

You have saved me a question ... :like:

I'm hoping the response is - Project 6GR tens in 20 x 10 (35) & 20 x 11 (50) - these are the wheels I want :sunglasses:

Then I'm going to ask for tyre sizes and how much that car has been dropped ... :like:

Ceramic is magic.

Was that from hose spray rather than rain ?

It’s just I’ve never seen build up like that from rain, it normally runs off and leaves dry tracks if it’s natural :

Hi Junior,

Just checking which one is correct or if you did change, why, and did it help ?

These wheels are top of my list (when my current MPS4S’s are done) and I’m making sure I’ve got my new setup nailed before committing £’s :like:

Don’t worry, it been getting pampered lately …

I’ve been splitting it up into bite size chunks and picking areas up as part of (claying) and after (polishing) my wash process.

A few weeks ago it was the roof, trunk lid and most of the rear fenders.

Last week was the hood, front lights, front fenders and mirrors.

Yesterday was the doors and the remainder of the rear fenders.

As the misses and girls are away, the front bumper will (hopefully) be getting seen to today.

The rear end will be done in a few weeks after I fit the new deck lid panel and align the rear lights and bumper.

That will just leave me with the bottom of the doors and the rockers - which I’m not looking forward to due to the weather and working outdoors, low down on the drive (and I have PPF edges in those areas).

This bite size process has fitted into my life much better and battery power has helped tremendously. These two items have been a god send :

Allowing me to target and work on ‘small’ areas (i.e. one door at once) without :
  • Having to get all the car clean before starting.
  • Having to drag all the stuff out of the garage and run cables and hoses around the car (I even run the power washer on soda bottles to save on the hose).
  • Having to worry about the weather (doing both the above and then getting rained off).
Yesterday was a great example, I got rained off twice but just went in the house and did other things, then went back out when it stopped. I still got the doors and rear fenders done with very little additional / wasted / down time.

Everything wet (typically a job stopper), other than the door I was working on :

And yes, it was bad before :

The clay mitt is another great timesaver, especially doing it as part of / on the end of a wash with an extra soapy solution.

Clay still has its place though, you can knife edge the putty to get into these kinds of places :

1698575718207.webp

Which IMHO, just isn’t possible with a clay mitt or cloth with the same precision or without using a lot of force etc :frown:

For the guys who’s cars are kept outdoors, have a good look at the edges where the paint meets the seal at the bottom of the door glass and the gaps around the edges of the handles etc - bright colours don’t hide anything :like:

Good call! I do think that it was after a wash - I don't leave the mustang out in the rain - its garaged. :)

I give up. Is that attachment on the left Ryobi's version of a pineapple...or something all together different?
It’s their brushless power washer with three way head, be it slightly modified so I can put the head straight on the unit rather than having the wand separating them :like:

It will suck from a soda bottle mounted to the gun (attachment included) which I use fairly regularly.

It will suck from a floating filter you can drop in a lake (for cleaning a boat).

It will connect straight up to a hose - which gets by far the best performance.

Whilst it will never replace my main unit, it’s a great tool for spot clean ups (bird bombs etc) without having to get the main washer out or physically touch the paint - exactly what I bought it for.

After helping a neighbour plumb in a cheap electric unit (old base model karcher), I reckon it would actually out perform a cheap electric (if it’s hose fed). It kind of sits between my garden hose and main jet washer with regards to small area cleaning ability :like:

Just to follow up on my post above, it’s now ready for some more bead porn … :giggle:

And yes, it’s currently raining again …

Two things would be great time savers for the front end :
  • A small headed battery polisher - to cut down on the hand work.
  • Self applying masking tape - because it takes me longer to apply it than polishing the same area, and it won’t stick well to the splitter …

Glad I'm not the only one who hates taping up, surely one of the most tedious detailing jobs.

As for the small polisher, there are now several options on the market. The Rupes iBrid Nano sort of set the pace, and while I love mine, it's overpriced for what it is.

Buy Rupes BigFoot Nano with iBrid Technology | Slim's Detailing — Slims Detailing

These are a couple of examples -

in2Detailing Nano Polisher
Vertool - Nano Pro Polisher (cleanyourcar.co.uk)
Maxshine Mini Cordless Polisher V2 – Cartec UK

But I think the ShineMate EB210 is one of the best integrated mini polishers on the market at the moment. This can be converted from D/A to rotary in pad sizes up to 3-inchs, down to 1-inch.

ShineMate EB210 Cordless Polisher Kit (mycarcleaning.co.uk)

If it meets Sandro's standards, then that says it all.................
