What jump starters do you guys recommend for 5.0 to instantly start it up just in case the battery dies? I’ve seen some on Amazon but not sure which ones will work. I think it will be handy to have with you.

I bought a Weego for each car. Haven't used it (yet) on the Mustang, but have used it on my Honda Odyssey. Worked like jumper cables without the need for a second car. It holds a charge for months, so just put it in the trunk or somewhere and pull it out if you need it. Has some USB ports to charge other stuff if you need to. My only caution with this brand is the clamps break easily. I got replacement clamps and now keep it in the box, which is probably what I should have done.

There are several brands out there. Many have the same features. My first experience with something like this was a NOCO brand.

I keep one of these in the trunk. Never needs charging. Hope I never need it, but it's nice to know it's there.

Yeah, those capacitor things are an interesting idea. I just don't think they are to a good point yet that I'd want to rely on one.
They scavenge whatever charge the battery has left to charge themselves. The lower the battery voltage is the longer it takes to self charge. Then they release what they get in one quick burst. If that's not enough to start a finicky engine then you have to repeat the whole process with a battery that's even more discharged.
The li-ion ones only need a top up charge once a year or so and mine has never failed to start whatever I've asked it to.

OP, I'd suggest you check out "Project Farm" on YouTube. He has done some pretty decent testing and reviews on jump packs as well as just about anything else you can think of...

A dying battery gives you serious hints it needs replacing before it completely dies. So I'd think a jump pack is un-necessary, as long as you pay attention to the car.

The one sold by Costco that often goes on sale for $49 works great also.

I think some of you forget there are different reasons a battery may need a jump, than just a bad battery. A few reasons: Running/working on audio system and draining battery, Having something running that is drawing power after the engine is turned off, and last but not least.....leaving the car sitting for an extended period of time and not on a trickle charger........or perhaps the same reason we have spare tires or fix a flat....just in case.
