I actually have that coupler too. The one shown in my pic is the one with 20* downward angle. It’s a little longer to push the intake tube out to give more clearance for the solenoids. PMAS’s product description says the coupler was intended for GT and GT350 models.

So the purge solenoid isn’t really an issue.
Are you open to using a longer pc. of .625” SAE 30R7 or 30R14 hose, retain the OEM QC 90 elbow and ditch the OEM fitting connection to the PMAS quick connect nipple.
Cut .625” hose to desired length with quick connect 90 on valve cover end and slide hose onto PMAS nipple with a spring clamp or worm drive hose clamp.
This way the Coyote OEM designed pcv flow circuit is as designed by Ford. Air pulled after MAF and before TB into left side, thru engine block out right side, back into intake plenum behind TB via pcv valve.
Yes. I’m open to this too.

Those solenoid locations have really been the devil in the details.
PMAS needs to do better than stretching couplers to that extreme.

I said to heck with it and ordered the dual breather filter kit from LMR. I removed the Ford Performance oil restrictor in preparation for the filters which should arrive tomorrow. I will be blocking off the intake manifold nipple, as well as the nipple on the intake tube, so sucking unmetered air won’t be an issue. I may add a third filter in the oil filler cap. JPC Racing offers this and calls it their stage 3 breather kit.

I have to say, the PMAS took some very careful orienting to provide the necessary hood clearance. I ended up having to remove my hood insulator and the driver’s side hood vent to modify it (enlarged the opening), to clear the air filter. As much as the PMAS cost, I didn’t want to close the hood and smash or damage the air filter.

So replacing the PcV system with breathers ? I wouldn't. JMO.

Nothing wrong with it, might get some oil smell in the cabin. That shouldn't be a problem unless the car is a daily.

If it were my car I'd do a road draft system like the cars had before 1968 or so. Good venting, no smell in the car.

Yes, but I’m going to keep the PCV in the passenger valve cover. I may continue to look for an acceptable solution that allows me to resume use of the entire factory PCV system, but for now, I just haven’t found anything that I like yet. This was literally holding me up from being finished with the work on the car and I’ve been ready to wrap it up for several weeks now.

Did you have to remove your hood liner and clearance anything to obtain really good fitment with your PMAS?

I’ve heard that selecting recirculate on the climate control settings eliminates the oil smell.

I’ve never heard of a road draft vent system before. I’ll have to do some research on that.

I would not run unmetered air through a nitrous equipped car. N/A sure.

Just not worth the risk, unless you have unlimited funds for rebuilds.

I did a short search and the LMR system is just a stock design with oil catch cans on both sides of the engine.

Chances are you won't have any issues, but nitrous and lean fuel equal broken engines. There is a delay between what the O2 sensor sees and the PCM corrects.

Road draft is just a tube from the crankcase to the bottom of the car. I would run the tube behind the rear axle most likely I would plum it into the exhaust after the last muffler.

JPC Racing said this setup will not affect the tune at all, as the intake tube nipple and the nitrous are le on the intake manifold where the factory PVC line connects to will be plugged. They actually said this is the best way to run the car.

As for the nitrous, I have all of the recommended safety features in place (prohressive controller, fpss, nitrous pressure switch, tps and rpm activation, JMS fuel pump voltage booster and colder spark plugs). In addition, I will only spray when running a true E85 fuel such as One Ethanol. Although the kit is a set shot, Lund will be writing me a nitrous specific tune.

OK, like I said I only did a quick google.

Hope it works. Again if it were my car I'd do a road draft. Since I have straight through mufflers I'd plum it like the S/C dragsters.

I haven’t done a search on road draft systems, but is this where you vent any blowby into and out of the exhaust?

Close throttle decel / high vac and watch it become a problem. Again, JMO.

Hopefully I’ll have pics up tomorrow. I removed my oil separator in preparation for installing the filters.
