3 to 5 days a week after work. Not too bad when I only work an 8 hour shift, but I work 3+ 16 hour shifts a week, and sometimes get stuck in traffic for half an hour. So I can imagine anything extra to do on those days when I am exhausted will be terrible. I will probably just end up with an auto tbh. The paddle shifters sound fun. I still enjoy manually shifting my car now with the tiptronic system, I think in the end, the ease of use in traffic for me will out weigh the extra fun of a manual. Are you in significant (like most of the trip) stop and go traffic every day? I'd probably look at auto if true, even though I love driving stick. If you hit that kind of traffic every once in a while but mostly it's not bad, go for the stick. All that said, this one is quite easy to drive in stop and go traffic compared to previous manual cars I've had. Only you can decide if the extra fun and involvement is worth the tiny bit more work in traffic. My point was just to not let the fear of learning deter you.
