My fun money are video games and movies. I'm the most boring almost 28 year old guy ever lol. I don't drink, go out or do anything. :p I am hoping to find some car meets or mustang meets if I get the car!

Man, sure sounds like the 5.0 is the way to go if I wanna make friends. :p I'm not too worried about getting laid, that's never been too much of a problem, I'm buying a car to have fun and enjoy it. Not to get panties and phone numbers lmao.

I think I will enjoy a huge increase over what I have now lol. And the exhaust, it would be awesome. I love the sound, but I leave for work at 11 pm half the week, so I really don't wanna be the guy who wakes up half the neighborhood lol.

MAN. I have been this way since I was like 22 lol. I don't care about all that fun stuff most people do. If I get a mustang, i'm gonna drive it for fun. ;)

I got a base GT with the performance pack for $31,400.
I wish I got the premium every now and again but leather and Nav aren't why I got the car.
If I want that I'll drive wife's Lexus is350.

I bought the car to track and the premium is heavier then the base.
The performance pack is a must for a GT owner.
There are literally $8k worth of upgrades you could get for free if you get a deal like I did.
Cobra brakes are hug plus the wheels, rear end, radiator gauges etc etc etc

I was in the technical alpha, and I hated it. I prefer to play dota, but I quit it for a few months because it ruined my life. I was playing 60-80 hours a week, and I gained a ton of weight because I was shoving fast food down my throat to keep playing more and more matches instead of cooking lol. So no more intense mobas for me! That being said, I hope driving the car won't end up that addicting. ;)

Also, I want the performance pack! But I am thinking I have to get an auto because I have no experience with a manual, and no cars to learn on ahead of time.

The GT with the clutch spring removed is actually really, really easy to drive or learn to drive in. It is calibrated such that you can get rolling in 1st gear without even touching the gas pedal. I honestly wouldn't let that dissuade you and focus primarily on what you'll want once you acquire the skill. It's so worth the learning time.

learning manual on a V8 is a lot easier since its tougher to stall the car because of the torque. 4-6 cylinders stall the car very easily but you will learn better on those.

Man. I am want it in manual. Anyone near NYC wanna come let me learn on their car? ;)

That being said, as a daily driver, wouldn't the manual get annoying in traffic, or is the new clutch that comfortable where it doesn't really matter anymore?

once you learn manual well, it will be second nature. I remember on my last manual car, I would be driving then realize how did I get into 5th gear? I didnt even remember doing it

Are you in significant (like most of the trip) stop and go traffic every day? I'd probably look at auto if true, even though I love driving stick. If you hit that kind of traffic every once in a while but mostly it's not bad, go for the stick. All that said, this one is quite easy to drive in stop and go traffic compared to previous manual cars I've had. Only you can decide if the extra fun and involvement is worth the tiny bit more work in traffic. My point was just to not let the fear of learning deter you.
