I'm right there with you!I'm on the same page as the op. No point in buying a new car to void the warranty and further depreciate the value of the car. Plus the price of parts are horrific right now. I'm probably going to do an X-pipe and mufflers for now. It'll shave off a little weight and make the car sound good, nothing really crazy. Overall I am very happy with the car the way it came from factory. After the car is paid off and warranty is expired, then I'll do an intake and tune, possibly headers and some suspension.
It seems I'm consistently asked "what mods am I gonna do?", when I'm just not seeing a reason to do much of anything to the car. I'd like to take it on a track, but I'm as novice a beginner as you can be, so I'm pretty sure I'm not in need of upgrades yet. In fact the only things I'm not thrilled with is the exhaust and the tires. I'm working on something to turn the volume up a little, but I have to keep in mind that I unfortunately live in a hybrid and electric car saturated part of the country and even in stock form I'm "that guy" at the end of day.
