Question:

If you go custom OS on a Gen 2 coyote, for example a 2017 Mustang GT, are any features added from the newer OS's?

Specifically do you get any of torque VS XXX functions that the Gen 3 have? Torque VS gear, Torque vs ethanol content, torque vs mode, etc.

Custom OS allows you to add multiple tune slots with different parameters in there. It doesn't add functionality out of the box, rather this is what your tuner's job is. Theoretically you can add functionality that is disabled or better than the gen 3, entirely what your goals are. It will let you add existing tables as duplicates or reduce torque via other mechanisms.
