I had an intermittent issue but have a hard time replicating it. I was also told by Lund that it is a bov issue and there was no surge issues from my combo and their tune. Sounds like I am not the only one

I just bought a new bov and should have it in a week. Then i will see if any difference.

seems like the BOV would cause surging while off the gas and decelerating. if it's surging at part throttle then it's in the tune.

defintiely not bov. looks exactly like the surge from the GT350 manifold.....it's in the tune for sure. easy fix.

IMRC, VVT, spark, and torque tables and smooth driving is in your future.

My ProCharger car does the exact same thing. Car runs awesome WOT and cruising around, Anything in between those is not satisfying and Jerky. Too bad it can't be fixed properly with remote tuning. Very frustrating when tuners want to blame installation issues or surge valves for inadequate tuning.

It doesn't even need to be re-tuned, it just needs a few tables reconfigured. No logging necessary.

Is this only happening with cars that have a bap? My car has zero surging but I don't have a bap. Half throttle would be right where a jms would start to come on no?

It's not the BAP or fueling. It's almost completely VVT and IMRC related. It can also be fixed with the torque/inverse tables but I think only after the IMRC and VVT are corrected.

Eek, that would be pretty annoying. I thought it was just some minor surging. Mine does not do that with the basic or race bov.

I'd be absolutely furious if my car did that at part throttle after spending 7k+ on a kit/tune

I know for a FACT that this can be fixed with remote tuning by Lund. The first 3 tune iterations I had from them did this exact thing with by race valve (which has nothing to do with it), and then they sent me an updated tune, after I explained the issue, and then the car drove flawlessly with zero surging. Who are you guys working with at Lund that says it's not in the tune? If you want you can refer them to my ticket request # 17727 if that helps.

That's pretty bad surging. Still waiting for my Paxton to get here hopefully I Dnt run into that issue. I'd be pretty upset

I've never experienced anything like this on mine. My car drove better than stock under normal driving with Lund tune.
