Yeah I was expecting around 15-16 but I’m suspecting belt slip. That boost curve really flattens out for a little there at 6k. I bet with an 8 rib I’d pick up a little more. 20 degrees of timing. It’s set for a max of 22 which I saw on the 3.8 pulley, but with the added load it’s restricting timing to 20 even with a happy knock sensor. Lund said that’s how he has the tune set up. It’s a fore system with my custom surge tank setup in the trunk. Single Walbro 465 in the main tank priming the surge tank then 2 465’s in the surge tank to the rail.
I am curious why you have a seperate surge tank. What is the purpose of two fuel tanks?

For cornering purposes. These cars have a fuel starvation issue on hard left corners. With the fore system which has no basket, this problem becomes much worse. So the surge tank is just a half gallon cylinder so the pumps are always submerged in fuel regardless of which way the fuel wants to slosh. This is a road race car, so having to top off every 3 laps got old quick.

Someone needs to explain what sarcasm is to you. Then why dont you go price out a whipple kit and a paxton and then maybe you can figure it out......
How about Gullible... No way the paxton that could is making 900 on 14psi!

Why is it so crazy to believe? It seems about on par with some of the shop numbers. JPC’s 2011 made 843 on 15psi at 6600rpm. I’m down .5 psi but revving an extra 1000rpm, and the 15 heads flow better than gen1 heads. Doesn’t that seem fairly consistent with that they saw? Just trying to gauge what the expected output would be in your mind.

I don't get it either
My car makes 720 @12lbs through a auto on 93.
Subtract auto vs stick drive train loss 20-30whp more
93 vs E85 same boost 60-80whp more
2.5 more lbs of boost 60-70whp more
Weather, open blower vs closed, different mani, different rpms, different dynos mustang vs Dynojet & STD numbers vs uncorrected could easily make up the rest give or take.

That seems like a lot of power for only 14lbs. Would really like to see what it runs at the track...

Fair enough point yet everyone cries when someone disputes the whole 800hp on 93 whipples that are so abundant now.....

LOL i thought thats what all the cool kids were doing now...

14 psi and almost 900whp? Lol

This is why dyno numbers are just that. A number
What kind of boost did you make with the 3.33 pulley? Maybe it is possible that the boost gauge is off. I am thinking about trying to run a 3.33 on my car for a few 1/4 passes and limit RPM to 7200 vs 7600 with 3.48.

I agree with you on the mph I'm over talking about dyno numbers because it is kinda pointless. BUT I like to side with the guy that tried to do everything right like same car, same dyno ect. but to many factors come in to play.

Just like this moring it was 38 degrees & my car was on the dyno making pulls, Friday it got up to 54 degrees same dyno making pulls (it made 720) now if I had a Whipple on 12lbs still on 93 that would give me just about 95 more whp according to them & i wouldnt even need to be tuning with E85 with this stuipid paxton paper weight. :frusty:

(JK this was all for fun so nobody get butt hurt) :p
See my point tho?

You’re all right, dyno numbers are meaningless if you don’t run the car. Never been much of a quarter mile guy, but I’ll see if I can get out there and give it a shot. On my 305 square NT01’s lol any recommendations on a good second setup for the strip? That’d be badass to change wheels and tires and alignment real quick and go from road race to drag race with just a few tweaks. Then I can give you trap times and we can settle this haha

It might be a little high, but intake manifolds (and being able to rev way higher) makes lots of power. I've seen a few paxtons around 850rwhp at 14-15psi (not stock mani).

Mine was 803 @ 14 psi with the 3.40....stock manifold on E85. Since putting the 3.33 on, it feels much stronger. I think the 875 is within reason with the 350 mani. I’ll do mine in the spring and see where it is now. Awesome numbers man!!
