Paint Very THIN

It is an issue and black doesn't help by showing every little imperfection.

The front of my hood is almost more white than black. If anyone is able to make any headway with ford please let me know as this pisses me off to no end! My dealership is full of idiots so I'm in the process of finding a new one. If I can go in guns loaded with anything you guys find this should be much easier.

They tried to shrug me off about it at first but I called and talked to the manager and they said it would be up to ford. Im off work tomorrow and have it scheduled to be looked at so ill raise some hell and update on what they say.

Do you have a picture of how bad it is? I want to see how mine compares

Luckily for me. I pointed the imperfections in the black paint out to the salesman and the manager before I took possession of my Black GT. They shipped the car to a body shop and had the problem areas painted. The problem areas for me were the hood and the 1/4 panel areas above the tires where they flare out.

Well, since the hood is now fiberglass it won’t corrode like the aluminum ones.

I was joking about it. However until you take a mil gauge and prove it is thin you are pizzing in the wind. Then or now.

And for the record I started the thread about corrosion back then. As mine did corrode.
