Any idea what kind of power you can put down with the single turbo kit? As long as I can get 600rwhp I'd probably save the $650 by going single turbo.
?????
You save $650 by using your own turbo's.
I don't think there is a "single" turbo kit.
Not sure how it would work with just one.

My plans include an Aluminator and F1A on 16-18 psi.

Dang, she will fly.

Those Aluminator short blocks are crazy hard to beat for the money! :)

Yeah, I was told variably they are making sure everything is going to fit right first. I'm waiting for that e-mail as well.

First pass in 2015 on3 TT

Well,
Not making excuses but kind of rusty from drag racing the Hellion auto car last year and my auto swap 12.:p

My car is a base with Steeda linear springs/viking crusader shocks, vertical links and IRS brace.

I was all set to mount my 17 x9.5 dark stars/ Hoosier slicks and 17 x4.5 bia ply 27 inch skinnies and head out.

For some reason the bigger washers would not fit either wheel set even though the same washers work on the same dark star wheels that are wrapped in ET R drag radials and sportsman tires that I has planned to use solely on my auto car(I ran 17x7 from wheels last year).

I found only a set of 10 washer that would work so i loaded the slicks in the back of the car to mount if needed although I was concerned of mixing tires since I had seriously "walk" in the past when I did but this was with the 18 inch fronts.

I had a buddy and his son drive the Hellion car which i did not plan to race since still having back pressure issues with the 55's that I am told have now been solved (in another car).

We got there late and track was packed as was opening day(first track to open of around here).

Anyway had car on low boost setting(14psi),lowered tire pressure to 19,did a quick burn out and launched car at 4000 rpm, spun through first with a crappy 1.9 .s as I tried to pedal it on its way to 11.3@136 mph.----many open mouths at the track as I had not yet opened my hood and they thought I was stock.:D

Not bad I am thinking since I had not drag raced a manual for more than 18 months(before my auto swap in winter of 2014).Car was making steam on its own picking up 34mph on the big end compared to my Hellon car that barely picks up 30.

That was the same speed I was trapping then running 10.5 when my 12 was a manual.

Logs looked good so decided to try again, lower the tire pressure and launch at lower rpm(higher boost setting).

I have never drag raced a manual turbo car but that is what I would have down with my TVS car.

Well -major fail in more ways than one!

Car bogged big time and ran a crappy 12@134

Whoa dude. I might be missing something but..
No reason to keep running motor on broken OPG gear.
If you lose oil pressure even for a second and shut down you likely only have to replace the OPG and oil pump housing. Not a big deal.
Knock you hear is crank banging on journals flopping around in motor.
Takes like 4-5 beers with a burger run or firing up the grill in between. Two weekends tops and our boy from Rosharon posted a walk thru.
Ive lost two oil pumps before: 3.0L 7000rpm in NSX and 390 in Ford '60 pickup racing unknown rpm. Shut er down soon as safely possible and both lived again with no metal filings in the pan. Fired right back up both cases after pumps.
Lol 1960 Ford above 80 w no vacuum brake assist or power steering was uhhhh, exciting.

Dude
Don't forget OPG if you are going to be racing it .
Looks like I lost my motor due to high rpm at 14-15 psi.
Are you manual or auto?
