I'm trying to download the update now. 12 gig. It's saying it will take 12 hours. I'm on suoerfast internet. WTF?

Which download? The build #21194 or maps NA 2 20?

Regardless, there’s a problem with the server. Try again in the am.

The build update was 1.8gb. It was a slow load, took almost 30 minutes.

The whole thing is 3 files. Instructions, Sync file, and license. The sync file is 12 gig. Never seen an update so big. If I tried to do this over Wi-Fi it would take 2 days.

Where are you downloading this 12gb sync file from? Build 21194 was only 1.8gb.

Here are the files for 21194. I do not know what you have but it certainly doesn't sound right.

I just downloaded it again to make sure I wasn't a corrupted file and I still get 1.8gb

Czeching in with my numbers, it was definitely under 2GB for the SYNC update.
I don't think maps are out yet...

Just checked and the new maps update is out. I started a new thread.

OK Matt, you're trying to download the new Maps file. It is 11.7GB. Estimated time is up to 1.5 hours. Do not go by what it says as it's constantly changing. I just started. Will report back once it's finished.

For some reason, every time I download the new update from Fords website, to my laptop, Chrome gets down to 0kb left but won't finish out the download. Ill try again today, and then maybe try another browser. Very odd.

As far as this map update goes, I recall posting a screenshot actually that it'll go live Sep 1. We don't get free ones anymore, do we?

I just downloaded the "New" Sync maps. 12 gig
The main folder under sync32.zip is named: 19Q1_NA_Post-3.2_2ndRelease
All the *.tar.gz files have a date of 12/10/2019
This looks like an old release to me, that was moved to production servers by mistake.

I copied everything to a USB drive, but I have not attempted to install/upgrade.
Note, my upgrade this week to Sync v3.4.21194 went fine, with no problems.

Try again. A few folks who had the problem of an old map yesterday are getting the right files today.

I use Internet Explorer. The Sync 1.1 version is the most recent, right?

Correct. Start to finish just over 50 minutes. Best I’ve ever had.
