Official Ford Sync3 3.4 Release

When Ford no longer offers free map updates, I will just use whatever current map I had. I don’t think I would ever drive the mustang out of state anyway. Besides, most smart phones are more than capable navigation also.

Tried the new version out this weekend. Seems to have some nice features on the user side.

Navigation and routing flow better, in other words. Miss a turn, not constantly suggesting the miss.

Proceeding to the next available root. I find some turns look like they end in a parking lot, visually. So it gets ignored, now it could wiggle around and end where I want to go.

I use the cell for navigation most times. Has some heads up features I like. Don't constantly need to watch the dash.

All in all it's a good update

You're talking strictly the maps update, right? Meaning you went 1.17>1.19 if I remember correctly?
Cause the Sync update itself has zero changes from what I've seen (at least as compared to last night and my commute this morning).
Install was so far probably the quickest of all SYNC updates I've done.

I didn't get a log file yet again. Second update in a row to have done that. First the 21020 now the 21089...

Damn you serious? I must've really been behind the 8-ball on my 21098...

Maybe I should put the cyanlabs on wife's F150, she's out of warranty anyway.

If all this is is simply a map update, I'm not messing with it. I use android. From past experience, the updates add more clutter in the form of POI's

This is a Sync update. Maps updates utilize different version numbers, i.e. 1-19, 1-20.

I'm downloading it now. It's a decent size file. Of course, we have no idea what the changes are.

I would definitely like to see some other color options but Sync 3 is done. Anyone know if this is an option on Sync 4?
