Official Ford Sync3 3.4 Release

I downloaded the new update to USB and went for a drive. It took about 25 minutes to complete. Everything appears to be working. Only hitch is that no XML was created.

The last update broke my SiriusXM Travel Link.

I have tried updating and get the "complete" message from the radio. But like Fasteddiec never get the XML file. And I STILL can't delete the phones from the system. So I can't add my phone back in because it now has 12 phones for some reason and won't delete any of them to open space for my phone to be reinstalled.

That's...odd. You can Master reset to wipe them all out. I've heard of oddities with Nav Favorites after updating and the MR usually clears those up.

My last two updates created an XML but the system wouldn't upload them. Doesn't seem to matter as Ford Owner still gave me the latest update.

3.4.21194 is now live on the Ford Owner website.

That's...odd. You can Master reset to wipe them all out. I've heard of oddities with Nav Favorites after updating and the MR usually clears those up.

Maybe I'll try another master reset. I did that to get Ford Pass working, and then they said since it was still on 3.3 I had to update to 3.4 in order to delete the phones. So maybe another master reset on 3.4 will do it.

I'm curious if the flash drive has one for me to upload.

Did the upgrade from flash drive, took about most of my 20min commute. Didn't notice a damned thing different yet...

I think it fixed thing that the previous version broke. Like the SiriusXM Travel Link stopped working for many people

Right. Actually now that you mention it, I noticed some of the roads stopped having the color-coded traffic around it prior to the latest update!

For my SiriusXM Travel Link, the only thing that works is Audio nothing else. I will be installing the update tomorrow morning. I hope it fixes my problem.

reporting back, the update did fix the Travel Link and now everything shows subscribed. This is after driving the car for about 45 minutes with multiple stops.

I have never seen that list of apps, can you explain how you got that display? Thanks!
