It won’t mess up anything as long as you select the correct downloads. If your u it is EU you need to select EU maps(F8) and NOT NA. For further assistance I suggest going over to the Cyanlabs forum.

Got a sync 3 without NAV, Waze is much better ! and selected EU, so that should be fine.
Gonna try this weekend and if needed i'll get back to their discord channel.

They only charge you if you select getting a USB key with update on it being mailed to you...

I did the update today but had a problem: "This USB Device Is Not Supported" This was with a 32gig USB 3.0
I then tried with a 16gig USB 2.0 and the update worked fine. Took about 30 minutes.

OK, tried the latest iOS 14 Beta 4, with my Sync 3.4, still not getting directions from A Maps or G Maps on the drivers display ... bummer, if it's an implementation missing on the Sync side, wonder when (if?) we will get an update ...

IIRC you get one free update. The next one is at discounted rate. All the rest are full price.

That's what I thought, however, I updated in April for free (1.18?) and it just let me download the newest for free.

Same for me. Did the 1.18 in February got 1.19 in June for free.
