It's been either raining or hot as hell here so I'm still hesitant on trying the 3.5 on 93. Since that ACES stuff seems more price efficient, I might just get some and not worry. Just curious if it's snake's oil or if it's legitNo logging yet, and since putting the 3.3" it's been raining so no traction. I have an NGauge and have the knocker up and will turn red numbers when it pulls timing. I've not seen red yet, and I'll be watching close when I go WOT with the 3.3". I will soon have full data logs though.
This. What's the cost? Torco ain't cheap lol.:..Since that ACES stuff seems more price efficient, I might just get some and not worry. Just curious if it's snake's oil or if it's legit

I'll get a picture of the gallon of ACES label which has a breakdown of the how many gallons it treat. 2 ounces treats 12 gallons and makes 102 octane with 93. So I put 2 ounces per fill up which is close. This stuff is legit, but I understand the wearyness of people not wanting to believe. You would be hard pressed to follow no any negative information on ACES in a search. This guy has some big contracts and some in the NASCAR arena. For me Octanium and the others octane boosters were out because of the harmful nature to the cats and other parts after extended use. ACES IV is also a lubricant for the upper half of the motor and is not harmful in anyway to the Cats. I know it sounds to good to be true, but give Brian a call at BND and see for your self, ask questions and get answers and if not satisfied ask more questions. It's what I did.This. What's the cost? Thanks, and so you know I'm not the only one that's using ACES IV with a pulley combination that would not survive if this was snake oil. One is running a 3.5" on 91 octane and ACES and is living large. Whipple tested the 3.5" and said a minimum of 95 octane must be used.Your experience so far is pretty compelling. Coming from you lends more weight. Since it comes in a plastic bottle I assume this stuff isn't negatively affected by light, unlike Torco. Now if only someone would just mention the price. ;)
IMo u can run more than 19 degrees of timing on 93 and torco.Im not sure if your tuner has your tune set for 19 degrees max or the 93 you got would not let your timing advance anymore. But 15 hp for 1 extra degree of timing seems about right,if u can get it to 20 degrees without any knock that would be close to 30 hp over your 93 tune,$20 bucks is worth that for me when i go to track.I use octanium and go from 18 degrees on 93 to 21 degrees on 93/oct mix and i can feel the difference.Just figured I'd add my experience.
My 93 tune has 18* of timing, made 624whp on a Mustang dyno
93+Torco tune has 19* of timing, made 639whp.
Feels the same on the street, can't tell a difference with the Torco added.
Here is an overlay of both runs, you can see how close they are.

thanks! what ratio 93/Torco during those pulls? I'm running a half can each tankful, but I'm on a large 3.75 whipple pulley. Mostly for bad gas protection. Will call BND guy today.Just figured I'd add my experience.

How much does this stuff run? Would be nice not to have to swap to s bigger pulley when going from e85 to 93I'll get a picture of the gallon of ACES label which has a breakdown of the how many gallons it treat. 2 ounces treats 12 gallons and makes 102 octane with 93. By the way I ran to Quebec City yesterday and burned up my tank of 93 and in the way back filled up with shell 91 with ACES as Canada has no 93 here. Keep in mind guys I'm now running a 3.375" pulley and whipple tested it and says 100 octane minimum with that pulley. I did several hard 4 gear pulls to 6500 and it was pulling hard and the Ngauge knocker was at 0 no timing being pulled. ACES just proved it's octane abilities to me there. More testing and data to come when I get my data logs squared away.
Call Brain at BND and see for yourself weather you think it's snake oil or legit. I know for my self with the 3.3" pulley and 91 octane gas it's proven itself.

Another great reason to use BND fuel catalyst. Save money on E85 upgrades, you always have it with you. Just 2 ounces per tank and instead of putting corrosive elements of E85 through your motor your adding a lubrication to you fuel and motor that promotes upper ring and cylinder conditioning. How much does this stuff run? Would be nice not to have to swap to s bigger pulley when going from e85 to 93
I don't use gloves, and it comes with a smaller bottle you can measure out 2 ounces and pour. I would call Brian and ask, he will tell youQuestion about the ACES stuff. Does it have warnings about avoiding skin contact? I have been experimenting with some "Race Gas" concentrate that is similar to Torco and it has a significant effect on reducing my knock but has the warning about skin contact. I'm guessing regular old gasoline has similar warnings, so it might not really matter. I just don't like the idea of having to deal with the stuff every fill up being a DD and having to remember my rubber gloves.
