You could just use a couple gallons of race gas in an empty tank but I tend to likest half a tank of fuel when I am pushing my stuff hard.

The octane boost is so much easier....just dump in 32oz and you have a (almost) whole tank full 100 octane where ever you are. I've mixed C16 with 91 octane for my sled and you'd be surprised how much C16 it takes to get 100 octane.
Absolutely correct about this,do not run your car at the track witb only a couple gallons of gas.I did this exact thing and right after a hard launch when i hit second gear the car started running out of fuel and popping/back firing.I had to let out right away, now i run with atleast a half tank of fuel after that happened.

Lund made me race tune for the track. I run 1 bottle of VP Octanium or Torco(32oz) to 10 gallons of 93. My car is just a basic TVS/Roush 670 kit.I went 10.9@127 on the street tune and [email protected] on the race tune. I added headers and went [email protected] last weekend. I only run my race tune at the track. BTW like TommyV said. Do not try to run you car at the track with just a few gallons of gas or it will cost you.

Have you tried to leave the normal tune in it and run it with the Octanium? Would be curious how close it would be to the race tune times?

You want see no difference on the street tune. That's why I have a race tune. It is more aggressive so that's why I have to run the VP Octanium

Like nick said you likely won't see a difference unless you have crappy 93 or 91. But the car will resist detonation and likely will be more consistentx

If you haven't reached the max knock advance of your tune, running octanium should still give it some more timing automatically. But if you're going to run it all the time, definitely log it and get your tune maximized for it.

I put octanium in my tank one time with 93 and still on my 93 tune, usually I see 18 degrees timing but with the octanium I saw 19. Not much but proved it does work. Does anyone know if you can run a 75mm pulley with a 93+octanium tune?

Lund is preparing my tune now. I see 17 on the current tune. Will log and report back how much it changes with the 100 octane tune.

Quick question...which output gives you total timing?

I believe it is Spark V2.
He may slowley turn it up after u send him the log with octanium, did the same thing to me and i think they just want to check and make sure u added it correctly for safety.Another thing to look for too is how fast the timing ramps up in each gear, octanium lets timing ramp up faster then 93.

So here is a log of the 3rd revision for 100octane. Matt H said he added in 7% fuel from the 2nd revision but this one was leaning out from 6600rpm up still. He also said based on timing/knock, he would put this at around 96 octane. I'm at 10gallons of Sunoco 93 to 32oz of Octanium. Has anyone had any trouble hitting the advertised octane ratio that I just mentioned for 100oct?
