I don't think 99% of people have anything to worry about with their tuned EB but it appears the risk goes up with the earlier builds. I'm just a little too risk averse to chance it, especially since I could have easily bought a new motor with the $ I just spent on my girl's ring lol

You guys are being incredibly delusional. How many people post on the forum who have BAMA tuning? But I bet they outnumber any of the tuners you mentioned just because of the size of their operation and the number of people who will just go on American Muscle and buy their tuning while buying other parts. The internet in general is not representative of the population of people who buy mustangs and modify them.

The fact that I decided to upgrade is completely irrelevant. If I had a 2015/2016 build I would have stayed but only for another year because I planned to get a 2018 anyway.

I'm glad it was Livernois tuned though because my engine may very well have already blown running someone else's tuning
You do realize American Muscle sells tunes from Unleashed and other competitors right? We are also talking about the ecoboost mustang engine, I'm sure BAMA has tuned more mustangs overall but not the ecoboost.

They do sell unleashed and COBB tuners, just looked. The BAMA tuner is the only one with reviews though and it has like 23. This is a pointless debate though because these are large companies who will likely not be disclosing how many customers they have, there's a lot more to it for them they would need authorization from their higher ups

Also large respected companies have no reason to prove themselves. They already have a large client base.

As for the assertions that we do not tune more than adam, our primary clientele is not the forum type. Although the owner of the car that I posted is a member on the forum he has made 2 posts. He has had his car, and been a member of this forum since day 1! He is an executive at a very prominent Michigan-based company in the global marketplace. THAT IS OUR CORE CLIENTELE.

As for the purposeful verbiage of the title, it is called target driven marketing. The FACT is that since 2009 we have yet to fail a client's car. If you think that we do not tune more vehicles than the companies that you mentioned you are mistaken. Just look at that statement logically, we are not just an online retailer. Not just a one man operation that tunes 5 types of cars. Not a shop that only works on Mustangs. We are a top tier vendor for the 3 domestic automakers. We have one of the most successful eCommerce sites in the industry. We have a 36,000sq' shop with 4 dynos. We have five 5-axis CNC machines and in-house 3D printing capabilities. We have an engine and cylinder head build facilities that build projects that range from your normal street rod to applications that roll through your dealerships!

So to assume that we are less successful is just that, an assumption. Our general demographic is just different.

And to be clear, I'm not saying Livernois tunes are unsafe. I stating that this whole BS about tuned cars being the reason behind the failures is BS.

And the subsequent fear mongering....it's just stupid.
To say that it is fear mongering doesn't make sense either, as we are proposing TUNING as well.:tsk:

Projecting what your inference is onto the entire community is nonsensical at best. Just because you choose to read in between the lines and take away something does not mean that is what was actually being said.

I took it at face value. Multiple failure threads pop up and here comes the "No EcoBooms over here" flag. Please.

I'm sure you can't say you haven't had a blown EBM. We know that's not true...

Mid 13's? With that whole package?

That's what a stock EBM runs on street tires.

As far as your insinuation, if there was a proliferation of unsafe tunes you would think a tuner's faster cars would be the ones to let go, but that doesn't see to be the case. Hell, look at Lund throwing the kitchen sink at the UPR car. Adam has no failures in his fast cars....must be simple mathematics. The more you tune, the more likely you will have your tune on a failure. Furthermore, stock cars area popping. A little logic allows us to see a slight trend here..

Nonetheless, people know where to get tuned for performance and where to get tuned so they can run the same times that they could stock.

What's going on over at Livernois? You guys seem to be slippin'.
Salty.

I went with Livernois because I wanted a faster eco mustang. Not looking for the fastest mustang and not looking to post 0-60 time slips on sites. Got exactly what I wanted. Not every enthusiast feels the urge to share on social media. And that is not a criticism of anyone just a point to be made.
Looks like you just got the urge as you shared on social media, and that is not criticism either.

What I meant was that I don't feel the urge to share how fast my car is... But you probably knew that. I actually knew someone would respond as you did so I decided to specify what I meant by share but then I thought I really don't care.

Question for you. Do you work for LMS?? You have no way of proving what you said.

Adam, we do not go into your threads to bash you. We never make any mention of you at all. So if you could be equally as mature that would be appreciated.
Either I'm blind or Adam deleted his post.

Anyone know what they may be referring to?

Personally I trust someone who specializes in these ecoboost mustangs and maybe a select few other cars, rather then some large company who tunes various types of cars and maybe doesn't know the in's and outs as well of these engines. But hey, to each there own.
