I own my condo. I've been there too long apparently. Living in the SF Bay Area and trading up to a detached home isn't as easy as it sounds, when 1000 sq ft spots are selling for $600K, and that's in the cities farthest from San Francisco.

The garage is underground, not a carport setup. Never did I think people would be able to hear my exhaust upstairs coming from a concrete garage.

As far as the comments about being a douche... I think I'm very respectful, and drive my car in 2nd gear slow as f--k.

Oh well.
Hey MikeyPee, I'm not sure how loud it is but I have the Roush Axle Back Exhaust and just added the MRT H-Pipe Resonator Delete. I live in a nice highrise and the 7 story parking garage is all concrete. The cold start is pretty loud but as soon as i get in the car and push the start button I put it in drive. That normally takes the sound down about 30%. Then, I slowly drive down the garage and the sound goes away. I am actually thinking about putting the Roush Active exhaust kit on my axle backs to control everything.

I had this problem once before. A neighbor left a note in my mail box saying that my car was too loud. So, I removed the catback and drove around for about 2 weeks with open headers. Then put the catback back on and never got another complaint.

Forget about neighbors complaining. I used to own a WRX with a nameless exhaust and it was loud... I lived in a townhome community at the time and often left or got home from work between 3 and 6 am. No one complained to me directly but I got letters from the HOA. I read their "rules" and none of it actually applied to the situation. Turns out that the person who was complaining wasn't being woken up they just found it annoying because they also got up for work early. F-that.

Ah yes, now I remember why I hate 5.0s and the douches that feel the need to make them even louder. I went through this for years with an asshat next door that owned several, each with a shitty sounding wake-the-neighborhood exhaust. Very happy day for us all when his wife left him and he could no longer afford the house, so he moved.

As someone above said, having an exhaust like this, one that affects others in a bad way, is disrespectful and extremely annoying.
Why are you here again?
