So need an easier more secure way to adjust my rear camber. After debate and hearing from the gt350 crowed at how the camber can “slip” on hard corners in the rear, I’d like to get camber arms. Which ones would be better and anyone got discounts! Lol. Steeds or BMR seems to be the ones that come up.

I had the Steeda adjustable arm in my last car, and it did work great. The only complaint I had is it’s a pain in the ass to get at the lock nut n the adjustment nut with wrenches because there is not a lot of room.

I will say the act of adjusting camber works perfectly, it was however a pain to do. Definitely not as much of a pain as the factory adjustment though.

I am a big Steeda fan, and have been their customer for almost 30 years. I always prefer her to buy their products. That said, I have never used the BMR piece.

Do you also not have to secure the 'old' adjustment somehow? With something like this?

The Steeda adjustable arm does not do anything with the original top bolt. Does that come with the BMR adjustable arm, or is that a standalone piece, and who makes it? Being read I assume it is a BMR part?

Its another BMR standalone piece that cost another $60. Honestly both arms should come with something like that. The BMR peice has 2 notches to lock in depending if you want more or less camber, basically pre-setting some camber.

Outside of easier camber adjustment can anyone elaborate on whether this would be beneficial for the casual daily driver and occasional 1/4 mile track use? I know it can't hurt but is going to help me in 1/4 mile runs or daily driving? I already have the steeda vertical links if that matters.

I went with the BMR adjustable camber link and the additional camber lock out kit. Camber link is in the car but my fat hands and arthritis made my mind decide installing the lock out kit was better left for another day. Like the Steeda version the jam nuts are tricky to get at with a pair of 1-1/4 wrenches.

Scott, you have a 2020 gt500 correct? How’s the clearance on it all? Is the bmr a nice piece?

Nope sorry for messing in the big boys thread. I would buy the BMR adjustable camber arms again quality in my view is excellent. No fitment issues on a lowly GT Premium bagged with Viking Crusaders.

UPR also makes adjustable camber arm - similar design to Steeda's and BMR. I think that unless you have the lockout kit, the issue of potential slip during hard cornering still remains with all of these, they just provide greater adjustability.

For a lot of reasons, I cant really get behind Steeda.

The BMR guys are local to me and they test what they sell - it's good stuff and if you have any problems, the support is second to none.

Steeda also tests what they sell & our products come with a lifetime warranty.

it is used on the SCCA T1 number 20 car - shoot me your email to [email protected] & let me see what we can do on pricing ... & our tech team can help answer any questions you may have.

Doesn’t mean what Steeda makes isn’t great stuff, because they make great products, and have for many more years than most others. They make more than just suspension too. I can tell you Steeda’s support is top of the line as well.

I’m not here to bash any company, but I will defend who I believe to be a good company.

I thinks it’s great that we have options, and competition breeds great ideas.
